Perfect
I have a tripod with no center column. Now I can weigh it down, or have a place to rest items safely while shooting!

Connects Securely
Great accessory for tripod, holds extra lenses, filters, batteries for easy access...rather than going back to the bag. Works great for adding weight to the tripod for stability, can add rocks, weights of any kind. Velcro is very strong, no fear of the stone bag letting go and dropping the contents (within reason).

Why do I need this?
Now that I have this in hand I have found no significant use for it. I don't dislike it. It does what it says, it is light, folds for easy carrying. Most ideas for use can be done more efficiently with the use of my camera bag. So, for me it is a device looking for purpose. Wish me luck in finding some.

Very handy item
This is a very useful and durable item. I use it with my 8 Meade LX90 telescope. It fits in the upper segment of the tripod very well. I do not think tsht it is big enough for the lower segment. I use it to place my Celestron Power Tank 7 amp. Alternatively, it is big enough to store iPads, smartphones, dew shield or other stuff. It is a bargain for its price, All the best, Levent

catch all
a great catch all for when you are busy shooting. It is easy to make a mess when you are shooting but this keeps everything together so you don't lose any of your gear out on a shoot.

Very convenient
Holds weight for stability or accessories. Trouble is velcro that holds it to the legs doesn't go to the ends, leaving the end of the strap hanging out to possibly snag and come undone. Otherwise 5 stars

Keeps my tripod from blowing away!
I was in Iceland, where the wind blow constantly. I have a wonderful SIRUI tripod and head I purchased at the recommendation of the great support folks at B&H. It is pretty light, however, and the wind was strong. I put this bag on the tripod, threw a couple of rocks in it, and I was SET. It was inexpensive, and saved me from crashing my Nikon on the rocks. It worked like a charm.

Useful Addition
This helps to steady (when weight added) my 3 Legged Thing Punks Brian Travel Tripod. Its easy to attach to the tripod legs.

Great product
This is sturdier than I thought it would be. The specs claim it'll support 20 lbs. I haven't tested it but I think it will. Very handy to have a place to set things.

A third and fourth hand!
Such a simple but helpful tool, when using a field camera or any camera and a tripod. Easy to install, very helpful to store, light meters, filters, and other tools while creating. I am sorry I waited so long to purchase this tool!

Best bang for the buck
I think I have gotten more benefit from this inexpensive accessory than any other I can remember...especially for the price.

Good Accessory
Not used much yet but am excited about it. The premise is sound, the connections appear solid and the bag part tough enough for our purposes.

Simple and just what I needed
This is my second one. Cheap enough that I got one for each tripod and I leave them attached. Great for Batteries, Lens, cables, you name it its within reach

Poor quality materials
While the hammock does what it advertises it should do, hold objects so you dont have to, and this is convenient, the materials it is made from are of low quality. It is vinyl over on open webbing and after just a few uses the vinyl is coming off. Disappointing.

Well made and very useful
I bought this primarily to act as a third hand while shooting to hold stuff: filter pouch, card wallet, remote release, etc. However there have been times when a few large river rocks would have helped tripod stability so Im sure I will use it for that as well.

Poor attachment
The velcro straps are useless if you are going to load up the hammock with any weight. I had to remove them and add a secure attachment that locked securely. Look elsewhere if you want it to work correctly out of the box.

Perfect
So cheap, so simple so essential. I now have one on every tripod I own. When I put the tripod in its carry bag I just crush it in between the legs. It is the perfect place to hold power supplies, batteries and even your water bottle.

Extra pocket
It is like having an extra pocket for your stuff. Instead of looking around for a place to put it down (there's always something in your hand that you want to put down someplace) you just bend down and put it in the tripod hammock. Cool!

Great little accessory!
A great little accessory! Obviously, there's no call to use it in every situation, but there are times when I'm set up for a lengthy process that may include the use of filters, a lens change, etc.etc. and then it is a fine addition to the kit! At this price it made NO sense to DIY rig something.

You need this.
Great product and cheap. I leave it on the tripod all the time. Handy for weights or filters, batteries, or other things you want to keep off the ground.

Perfect Tripod Hammock
I ordered this tripod hammock at the last moment getting ready for the Great American Eclipse. I didn't want to be fumbling around for the solar filter when removing and replacing it for the moment of totality. This turned out to be a great purchase. It not only did just what I needed for the immediate use, but was sturdily constructed to be used as a stone bag should I need added weight as tripod stabilization.

Great for lightweight accessories.
This is great for holding filters, leds hoods, etc. It is kept in place with velcro starps, which limit the amount of weight you can put in the hammock. I would NOT use it to steady a tripod with additonal weight below the center column.

Excellent accessory for night scenes and hiking to locations
When shooting night scenes I dont really want to haul my large tripod and sand bags in the dark, but still want some stability from the wind. The Oben Tripod Hammock is small and light and easily deployed in the field with available rocks or other weights. That allows me to carry a lighter, but sturdy tripod. In fact, I just ordered another Tripod Hammock so that I can use 2 cameras for time lapse photography.

Simple and easy to use
I like this product. However, using simple hooks instead of Velcro would have made is simpler and easier to setup.
