An excellent monitor and stand
I use this monitor as a second monitor to compliment my 27 iMac. I use the monitor in portrait mode to read documents easily. Since the pivoting was important to me, I'll talk about the stand which is quite nice and has the tilt, height and pivot adjustments. ViewSonic Monitors Are The Best
We have several ViewSonic LED monitors and love them all. This is a great energy efficient monitor with true color and a non-reflective screen. We use smaller ones like the 22 that we just purchased for everyday business and internet browsing. We have several 24 monitors for video editing and motion graphic design. Love these monitors... the height and tilt adjustments are great for all different size people, employees or even if you just felt like standing for a little bit. Of course B&H offers them at incredible prices too.

Good value
This is a good monitor for the price. Has extensive adjustments for color, brightness, etc. which are easy to use (as long as you can find the correct black button on the lower right of the frame). Pedistal makes a fairly small footprint on the desk and the ability to elevate the screen to a comfortable height was a deciding feature. The aspect ratio is better suited to movies than for multiple window applications (a little too short for the width).
