Quick and easy setup with my Mac.
I just received my printer and got it up and running on my MacBook within a few minutes. The link to the driver download was easy to find and the instructions were clear and accurate. Lightroom was able to find the printer but I did notice that colour adjustments are better done through Lightroom or in the camera rather than using the colour adjustments on the printer. The quality of the print, and the ease of use is identical to the Hiti P510s.

After some adjustment, great printer
The printer was easy to install on Win 8. The initial prints were horrible since we are accustomed to working with Epson inkjet printers. After a lot of tweaking and monitor adjustments, the prints are of professional quality. Excellent color depths however you do sacrifice whites due to paper emulsion not being as bright. Turn the printer on and it is ready within seconds. Prints come out in 30 seconds, cut and ready to deliver.

Simple Quality
Easy to load, easy to use, very high quality prints. Used this for our first event and it kept up with hundreds of families for pictures with Santa. Stable drivers and super easy to install. Couldnt have asked for a better experience. 4x6 prints in about 25 seconds. Flexibility let us change our plans without spending extra; bought 6x8 ribbons and paper but decided to print 6x4 photos at our event. Flawless execution.

So far so good
We've used it for several photo booth events and works well. I've read other reviews here about jamming or not working on and off and never experienced that at all. We've probably printed over 2000 or more prints already and never failed at a single event. 30+ and running. Only issue we had was when it cutting (bleed setting). It's more on the driver where you have trial and error and set it right.

Feeds my DS620A.
I'm a full time photographer. Is use the DS620 for on-site printing with corporate clients and in my photobooth operations. This is the media (paper + ink) that is use the most. Good stuff for 2x6 strips or 4x6 prints. Pro Tip: if you change one (paper or ink) because it ran out, change both. It will save you down time and keep your operation running with fewer interruptions.

Good Product
Everything worked well with this printer. Have been using the Sony Snaplab in the past. The only problem was the lack of directions for this printer. The set up for the printer was pretty easy and straight forward. The challenging part came when loading the driver software on my laptop that uses windows XP. There really isn't any type of explanation on how to load to XP.

last forever
these last so long we offer unlimited prints at our photo booths we get anywhere for 3-5 events from one roll. I love that it doesnt use ink so there is no drying time and the designers are not concerned on dark layouts. shipping is always fast as well I like to bring 2 rolls with me always as a back up but I have never had a problem with ripping or jamming.

Works great!
The product isn't photo lab quality, but awesome quality for instant prints. Much better than el-cheapo $100 printers. CAUTION: Don't store the roll on it's side for an extended period of time because the inside of the roll will turn oval on you and it'll be a nightmare to jam the roller spindles into. Keep them stood on-end to save yourself a headache!

media pack excels
what can you say it's a media kit that goes with the DS80. Has directions printed on both the ribbon to show how to load. Just make sure you get any sticky off the paper from the tab that keeps it from unrolling, because if you don't it will get caught up and in printer and jam up. Great cost for the job it does...equals out to .88 cents per 8x10

Commertial usage
Very fast, not noise, papper and film change very simple and fast. Photo not afraid water, not sticky to finger. You can printing photo 6x4, 6x8 and few panoramic (!!!) size photo. Twice, printer jamming papper and ripped the film. Solution easy: - Just eject paper and film - cut papper and insert to printer - fix film with glue transporent type

I wish I could remember the gentlemans name that helped me out. But in my defense I played an order a few weeks back. This was my first time Placing an order with B&H. Great Paper
Love this paper, the gloss finish is amazing. I use this to print 4x6 event photos and Photo Booth events. What a great combination or printer and paper and at .$ cents a print its cheeper than @ at .$ cents per print so why pay more, event with labor you still don't have to drive to @ and wait in line to pick up your prints. Do it at home.

Just What I Expected
I have wanted a printer like this forever. This printer prints 4x6, 5x7 and 6x8 on the same paper roll. I only need to trim the 5x7. The 4x6 and 6x8 are cut in the printer. I put it to work twice. If I had one complaint it would be the non-menu option. You need a computer to print. It is very fast and the colors are popping.

Since i started using the old rx1 media rolls i dont have any issue, now i need to switch to DRX-1hs i am having more trouble specially the ribbon. 15 to 20 times for my 4 event the ribbon always stick and cut while printing. Does any one encounter this problem.... is there any update on firmware or something i need to do...

Great Solution for our supply line.
We use this media at one of our photography concession sites. Good, clean, fast printing with no hassel. After discovering that this is a regularly stocked item, we have dropped our previous supplier completly. It cost a little more through B+H, however, the consistantcy of ordering, availability ... makes up the difference.

DNP DS-40 Printer Media
I use the DNP DS-40 Printers for my event business. I have received several rolls that were bent which makes them very difficult to load on the spools and if not perfectly fit they will not work. Most of the recent rolls have been packed better but still need to have a cardboard insert inside the roll to prevent the bending.

Very good Printer for photo booth event shoot
Printer is very easy to set up and print. With in 10 minutes from open the box the printer was ready for first test. The picture output is in excellent condition. It is beautiful. Pro: very good and solid quality, fast printing, image output is in excellent quality, reasonable price. con: a little loud when it is printing.

Yes, the ribbon fits, and the paper roll goes into its proper place! Not only that, but even teenagers can perform this relatively simple maneuver! So, if you are the proud owner of a DNP DS80 dye-sublimation printer, look no further! This is the stuff of which prize-winning 8x10 inch prints are indeed made!

Works great
Usually I buy this locally but my go-to place was out of stock so I snagged one here. Been using this same media for my RX1 & RH1HS for a while now and never had any issues. 700 Prints/roll is definitely a huge plus. If you want to do 4x6 or 2x6 strips then this is the media you need. I havent tried the 6x8.

Disappointed
My printer brokedown within the first couple of months afternot even having finished the first roll of paper.Customer support was accessible,butI'm still waiting for an answer about how theyplan to proceedfor repairs. Also, image quality of the prints doesn't match theoutputofa dedicated inkphoto printer.

Great printer, great company
The printer is easy to work with and set up was pretty easy too. I have an older computer so I had to call to troubleshoot...they were so responsive and ready to help. The printer is fast but pretty noisy so you could never use it during a function while there is a speaker...otherwise its great.

Awesome paper and awesome service

Great printer
It prints great. No issues so far. We use it for photobooths. Easy to load. Only issue we see (which is not too important) is when it does the cutting/bleeding it's not perfect especially on 2x6 strips. The gaps are not accurate. Some adjustment in bleeding settings work, but could be better.
