Nice plate, easy to install
This plate has typical RRS fit and finish, was easy to install, works nicely. I like it. Two nice features are the included/attached allen wrench to conveniently tighten/adjust whenever needed and easily movable vertical section in case certain port access requires that.

Now only fits my hands better but mounts perfectly to my tripod with an arca-swiss plate!!

Fits like a factory part
Like every other piece of RRS equipment I've bought over the years, this one fits like it was made by the factory. Adds just enough extra height to the body to let all of my little finger get a grip, and of course adds the Arca Swiss pattern dovetail that works so well with the clamps on my monopods and tripods. Not the cheapest base plate out there, but the highest quality fit and finish. (The magnetic dots that lock an allen wrench on the bottom - out of the way of a clamp but always available if needed - are a very cool, and very convenient, bonus.)

fits like a glove, but...
I had the L-Plate fr my old 5DMK3, loved the premium engineer work then already. I like simplicity and as lean as possible, would have loved the new 5DMK4 L-Plate in one piece even more with 5 stars. Less loose screes to worry about. Its not cheap but worth all the money.

Camera security and ease of use
This L plate mated to the RRS lever connect system is simple fast and very secure.My old unit would hold partially fooling me and fall off.That won't happen with this system.The plate fits like a glove.RRS is not cheap but I thought if it saves as lens it would pay for it's self.

It Really Is Really Right!
Obviously this is for my D500. I needed something to attach the camera to an Arca type bracket. RRS make quality gear and this plate is no exception. I like that it can expand to attach a side bracket and I like the magnetic wrench holder. What I don't like is, of course, the price. It's ridiculous.

Almost perfect
High quality product performs as promised. The top chrome piece fastens to the camera strap hole for extra support and an additional camera strap hole is provided on the L bracket. All cable holes are easy accessible.I deducted one star as I felt it is over priced.I wanted the best and was willing to bite the bullet so here I am.

Perfect for me, maybe not for everyone
It would have been perfect if designed with the same magnetic retention site for theHex wrench. Hence, shall you need to often slide the plate you could be a bit disappointed. But the above, it is light and extremely well manufactured. I would recommend

Well made product with limitations for tethering
Great product. As anything from RRS. Expect complications when shooting tethered in portrait orientation as USB-C cable coming with camera won't fit between body and tripod plate.

Perfect solution
I only use Really Right Stuff on my gear, as they always fit perfectly with no issues or they should ofs. Yes they are more expensive than other manufacturers, but at the end of the day, after spending over $8500 on a Sony a9 and A7riii bodies alone, it is a small amount of the total expense. I have the bigger L-plate for the battery pack/A-9 combo, and these are interchange between both bodies. Makes it a simple solution if you want to go large or small on a setup. If you do panoramic photography, there markings make it fast and easy to find the nodal points with RRS panorama plates as well.

Nice grip for A9.
This grip is very solid and reliable. It holds my camera tight in any position and in extreme weather as well (-40?). You can also adjust it to plug in your remote control or other cables.

The Really Right Stuff L brackets for the Sony A9 and Sony A7r III camera bodies are well designed and built and they are a perfect fit for these cameras. Super Product!
If you are at all serious about photography this is a must have item no matter what camera you are using. These Really Right Stuff L-Plates are extremely well made and well designed. The A7RIII plate firs very snugly to the camera, adding very little to the dimensions of the A7RIII. The battery door transfers from the camera to the plate so you don't have to 'dig' for the door latch. The plate also offers some extra protection to the camera from bumps and scrapes! Well worth the price!

Best L-Plate for your Sony A7RIII
It's my first time buying a RRS L-Plate since I have used cheaper China brands in the past for my other cameras. This plate feels luxurious in comparison with the cheaper brands. I highly recommend it. Otherwise, please note that BH staff pack like school children. If you are shipping overseas, you might incur bigger shipping costs. Please specify this when you make your next order. See the picture attached.

Quality gear!
I recently purchased the Sony A 7R3 camera and needed an L plate. None of the "cheapy" Chinese brackets were available so I got the RRS bracket. It cost $200.00 but is beautifully made and fits on my camera perfectly. If you can afford it this is the best bracket you can buy.

Be sure you have the right ball head, etc, before buying
The item is well made, as others have stated. And it is custom designed for the Nikon D750. What I did not know before buying it is that it won't work with my Gitzo G1177 M ball head. This L-bracket is one continuous piece with no moving parts and will not mount the camera verticallyover the tripod's center line for panoramic photos without additional hardware from RRS, Arca-Swiss, or perhaps Gitzo.To someone new to panorama photography, all this... Looks good
This is my 2nd bracket. First was purchased for my Canon 5dM4 and I like the quality. I also purchased the a7riii so it was determined I would order the RRS bracket for my Gitzo. There are several reviewers that discuss the battery door removal and re-install to the bracket. This migration provides users an option to change out the battery. I would not know the performance of weather sealingI only use the bracket when I know its going to be needed on a tripod so having to remove the bracket to get to the battery is not an issue, especially since battery life has been improved on the a7riii.
