Need it to continue using my printer. As another reviewer said, it would be nice if it was designed so that the paper could be replaced rather than the whole cartridge, reducing waste. A little overpriced for what it is in my opinion.

Works as advertised
Not the most glamorous product and there's not much one can really say about it. They work as advertised, are easy to replace, and relatively inexpensive. One of those unobtrusive, but you can't live without it, items.

Didn't Know It Existed
This is something I was unaware of until I noticed some smudging on the side of my borderless prints. The maintenance guy said my maintenance tank was full and needed to be replaced. It was an easy and inexpensive fix.

Epson requires that you buy this cartridge with its 3880 printer. It works fine, although I can't help but wonder why it's not an item that Epson would supply for free. It's not all that expensive, but still . . .

Worth the money
I did not know about this product for my printer until I ordered some ink. When I replaced the old tank and made my first print with the new tank there were no stray ink spots on the paper. I was very happy.

what's to say?
It works. I don't to a lot of printing but I do switch from photoblack to matte quite often and the maintenance cartridge lasts forever. I am changing the cartridge for only the third time in over 8 years.

easy to instal
I bought the product Epson 3880 printer maintenance cartridge because my printer had quit working when the maintenance tank got full. I didn't even have to look up where or how to install. Easy and quick.

Ink Maintenance Tank
I've had problems with these, sometimes the printer doesn't see them and other times that they transfer the last tanks life so it's reads full even though you just changed it. Hope this goes smoothly...

Epson 3880
Excellent quaality. However, the feeding of paper is very - very annoying! Takes a nuber of trys before the paper finally goes through. Also have to do at least one print a week otherwise heads clog.

A necessary printer tank
These tanks are necessary to keep your printer functioning. They take on ink thats desposed of when changing from photo black to matte black. If the tank fills you cant print. I always keep a spare.

Necessary for Maintenance
I wasn't sure how necessary it was to change out, but when I removed the old one and saw how much ink was in it, I was convinced. Easy to install, just slide the old one out and the new one in.

I thought this Maitanance Tank would be tricky and messy to install but, it wasn't at all.Comes in zip- lock bag useful for disposing of old unit.Nothing bad to say about it.Great price too!

Don't be caught without it
If you switch between the two blacks often the tank fills up fast. I had to wait for a replacement which meant my printer wouldn't work. Since then I always keep an extra one in the closet.

I but only epson products for my epson 3880
I've seen u tube videos of how to just buy the absorbent insert for the maintance cartridge and reset the chip, but it all seems too extreme for me when the cost from epson is reasonable.

It will not be completely used. This being said, YOUR PRINTER will not print until it is CHANGED. Beware, there are some sites that charge $99.00 for this tank. Use B&H for best price.

Sucks it up!!!
Just as it should...the Ink Maintenance Tank (sometimes called IMT) does its job...keeping all the sludge where it should be...not on the pictures. How can you not love it???

A must have, just buy and hang on to it til you need it.
I bought this after reading the reviews. They say the P800 won't work without one so just buy an extra so you don't have down time when the original needs to be replaced.

Easy to Install
This installed easily and the printer is happy again. The instructions say dispose of old cartridge appropriately. It would be nice if it would explain what that means.
