As far as ironing performance goes, this is great.the base of the iron is nice, haven't had any stickiness that you get with the stainless steel ones. However(!)I was surprised by some design points. First is the fact that if you fill the water even quite a bit below the max, it spurts out the spray hole when you're ironing - dangerous when the water's hot. Also you have to be careful not to touch temp button while ironing - tricky as the cord is so close to the other side of your hand.

The electric iron is handy, easy to use. The problem is the temperature control, being colour blind doesn't help the colour indicator for temperature control. If only there is a clear indicator what the colour temperature it is and at what setting. The handle has a strip to show the light but the coloured indicator on its side doesn't light up. It's a bit confusing to use. The designer or engineer need to rethink of this...

This Russell Hobbs iron from Argos works well, is easy to use and provides reasonably good steam. I had identified it as a possible due to fairly good reviews and as it was at an exceptionally good price in Argos, compared to other suppliers, the purchase was a no brainer. Pleased with it at this time as it is light and glides well on my various fabrics. I like the heat indication and I just make sure to iron my lower temperature items and then turn the heat us as I go onto heavier items.

Loving my new iron which is light weight but does a good job of pressing our clothes. Particularly like the temperature gauge which is really easy to use. Prefer it to my old cordless iron. Does a much better job

Only had this iron for a couple of weeks but on this limited use I would rate the product very highly. Easy to use, lots of features and does a good job. Also cheaper than similar quality irons. Haven't always found the brand very reliable but will have to see with that one.

Brought this for our Grandson setting up his first home, and he actually uses it and enjoys ironing now, wow.

Nice smooth ironing plate, liking the colour coding once I got used to it. No problems with the heating up and cooling down. Long lead and easy to use. Would recommend.

Great iron. Lighter than my previous one that only lasted 7 months. Let’s hope this lasts longer. The colour coded heat settings are great (but I keep forgetting to set it when I switch the iron on, do then have to wait for it to heat up again once I’ve realised!! ) Better than my old iron as I kept touching the dial whilst using and it would alter the temperature by accident- this is much more efficient. Great design and reasonably priced. Happy so far!

This is a nice light iron & doesn't seem to stick, the steam is good & the water tank seems to have a good capacity, doesn't need filling too often. I DON'T LIKE the LCD temperature selection, Colours are not very easy to distinguish & you have to select it every time you turn the iron on. All my previous irons have had dials that remain set at the usual temperature I iron at. If I had known this I wouldn't have bought it but other reviews said it was a good feature. I think it is an nuisance.

Feels a bit like a toy to handle - v light but does the trick. I like the automatic switch off if I leave it plugged in. The colour display is better than I thought it would be.

Very easy to use with clear colour coding for temperature ie a coloured light for each level. So far I have been impressed with the ease of ironing and I appear to be clearing a pile of ironing at a much quicker pace. It glides easily over the surfaces and its narrow shape, at the point, allows you to iron difficult corners. Excellent long lead. I only have one gripe and that is that sometimes where the cable leaves the iron it can catch against your wrist. However great value for money!

The iron is easy to use. I love the buttons which allow you to change modes so easily and it's so much better than other irons that have the old turn button. It's quick in heating up, gives brilliant steam to quickly iron clothes. Only downside is that it comes with a small water beaker of 100ml. You have to fill it a couple of times.

I assumed the heat setting would also be numbered as well as coloured. The colours don’t bear resemblance to heat. Eg blue cold orange medium and then red meaning hot. But this iron is random colours so every time I use it I have to refer to the instructions to work out medium to high setting (green/purple) Heats up fast and glides over clothes. The steam button is in an awkward position but that doesn’t really matter. I wouldn’t recommend it especially if you are colour blind!

This was a snap decision purchase as my iron broke and I needed one fast. I can honestly say it's the best iron I've ever had. If you haven't ironed before it's perfect for you as the lights system means that you just check the label on the clothing and alter the setting at the push of a button, no guess work like with a dial. Highly recommended product

This iron is a lovely design, it’s heating up colour changing lights make it feel very.modern. It lets out adequate steam when regulated and glides whilst ironing. Love this iron for the price I paid

Have only used the iron 4 times (so it's still early days), but so far, so great. Pros: Excellent price, easy to use (colour-coding system for temperature is great once I figured it out), and steaming function has worked a treat. Have tested it on a wide variety of clothing/fabrics (including delicates like silk, denim clothing, etc.), and it's done great across the board. All in all, 5/5 product. At this point, would recommend to others to definitely buy.

This is a fairly straight forward iron, with the benefit of using an illuminated strip to show you what setting it is on. It works fine and I don't know why anyone would want to pay more for an iron. It is reasonably heavy to press clothes without being too heavy to lift. It holds plenty of water, and performs well. Can't fault it.

This iron works satisfactorily . Its operation is not as straightforward as expected but I feel I shall get used to its operation after a short time. The lack of a knob to adjust the temp makes adjustment a little uncertain but the switch that is provided works satisfactorily and the colour signals indicate the temperature well. I just prefer a rotary knob adjustment. It has some good features in the shot of steam and water spray.

This iron is very good value. It's easy to use with a very convenient long lead. I need it to iron silk mostly and it is perfect. Its colour coded temperature guage is very useful and I like its safety features such as turning off if not used for a while. I would certainly recommend it, I have not been dissapointed, it does the job perfectly.

Lightweight iron, good cord length, good sole plate . Very annoying having to press the button to adjust it at the different temperatures , there is no dial to select the temperature for the Garment you are about to iron. Water fill chamber is small. The speed of the iron on steam for cotton is excellent and I can iron creases out very quickly. And get through loads of ironing in little time. Overall good price shame about the design.
