Our previous iron decided to fall apart after several years of use, so a new one was needed. This was the one that we chose and we are glad we had. The cord is plenty long enough during use, some can be too short, but this one is fine. We like the coloured lights which match the heat setting required, so a quick glance at the light tells you, rather the fiddling with a control dial which is always under the handle, so not as easy to access. Good idea. Smooth plate and efficient steaming too.

Fantastic performance, colour coded heat settings, pressure steam, light in weight and does the perfect job. Oh and a long lead which is superb one of the best irons by far. Rate this 5 stars for that reason

This iron is absolutely excellent. I only have two complaints. One, because of where the temperature control button is located it is relatively easy to accidentally change the temperature. That said, the color indicator makes it very clear that you have done so. Second, and I admit this is nit-picky, it would be nice to have the temp guide printed on the iron (i.e. which setting is best for which fabric). Again, this isn't horrible, these are listed in the manual. This is an excellent iron.

This iron works fine, but it has one really irritating feature, which is that instead of just having a temperature dial it has five heat settings and a button that changes the heat onto the next setting, and the button is right by the handle, so it's really easy to change the heat setting without meaning to - in fact it's very hard not to do so, in my experience. Over the course of a few shirts this becomes really irritating.

This is a nice light iron & doesn't seem to stick, the steam is good & the water tank seems to have a good capacity, doesn't need filling too often. I DON'T LIKE the LCD temperature selection, Colours are not very easy to distinguish & you have to select it every time you turn the iron on. All my previous irons have had dials that remain set at the usual temperature I iron at. If I had known this I wouldn't have bought it but other reviews said it was a good feature. I think it is an nuisance.

The iron is easy to use. I love the buttons which allow you to change modes so easily and it's so much better than other irons that have the old turn button. It's quick in heating up, gives brilliant steam to quickly iron clothes. Only downside is that it comes with a small water beaker of 100ml. You have to fill it a couple of times.

Even with the minimal amount of water in it the iron leaks when stood upright. Over designed with an annoying sound when you turn it on and it takes some time to learn which colour light means what. On its lowest setting you could iron a shirt while wearing it. Not entirely sure why an iron has a temperature setting that could be used to cool a baby's milk!

This iron is so easy to use. Does everything it promised. The temperature gauge even lets me know if I’ve wandered off for a cuppa by beeping at me and flashing lights!!!! Very good value for the money.

Definitely value for money better than I expected would definitely recommend. Only down fall the iron settings meaning its colour coded like blue for cotton and purple for denim but if you can't remember what the colours codes are you have to go look on instructions instead if they did put on iron blue for cotton etc etc etc would be better, apart from that it's a great iron better than a more expensive one I've brought before and never lasted long and never heated up and irons as good as this.

Price is very good The iron it's self is probably the best corded iron I've used for functionality, quality and ease of use, heats up quick to a good heat too, very good steam and the control makes it very easy to use with peace of mind whereas the old dial method I used to get a little worried is it too hot... So I'd spend more time adjusting the heat setting bit by bit after burning a few items of course lol...

This is a fairly straight forward iron, with the benefit of using an illuminated strip to show you what setting it is on. It works fine and I don't know why anyone would want to pay more for an iron. It is reasonably heavy to press clothes without being too heavy to lift. It holds plenty of water, and performs well. Can't fault it.

This iron works satisfactorily . Its operation is not as straightforward as expected but I feel I shall get used to its operation after a short time. The lack of a knob to adjust the temp makes adjustment a little uncertain but the switch that is provided works satisfactorily and the colour signals indicate the temperature well. I just prefer a rotary knob adjustment. It has some good features in the shot of steam and water spray.

Lightweight iron, good cord length, good sole plate . Very annoying having to press the button to adjust it at the different temperatures , there is no dial to select the temperature for the Garment you are about to iron. Water fill chamber is small. The speed of the iron on steam for cotton is excellent and I can iron creases out very quickly. And get through loads of ironing in little time. Overall good price shame about the design.

I bought this iron because it had good reviews. But I couldn't easily distinguish some of the colours, and there are no 'dots' to show which colour is hot/warm/cool, so I couldn't tell how how hot the iron was. I returned it and bought a different iron.

A good iron with easy to use colour coded steam settings for crease free ironing. I am staying at my mums at the moment and bought the iron for us both to use. My mum is a pensioner and finds the iron quite heavy and cumbersome to use, but I find the iron easy to handle. I am particularly pleased with the steam settings, because they enable crease free results regardless of the material. The only downside for me is that I will be doing all the ironing!

This iron is very good value. It's easy to use with a very convenient long lead. I need it to iron silk mostly and it is perfect. Its colour coded temperature guage is very useful and I like its safety features such as turning off if not used for a while. I would certainly recommend it, I have not been dissapointed, it does the job perfectly.

I am pleased with my new iron, it heats up quickly, the amount of steam is good and the cord length is good. However the heat setting is a little frustrating. You have to reset the heat setting each time you turn it on and the different coloured codes are a little bit more confusing than the conventional dial setting. It’s not a major problem but the red and orange colours are similar so I’m never to sure which setting I’m on. Overall I am pleased

This iron has a great long lead its a good weight and the plate slides lovely it does a very good job, i have only a small complaint colours are similar in the heat range would be easier if they were different especially as older people and new to ironing could easily mix it up and use too hot a setting

I had to buy an iron after my old one broke and after reading the reviews of this iron I decided to buy one,so glad i did, absolutely fantastic iron and not too expensive either,i like the auto temperature its also easy to set and when it reaches the chosen heat it stays and there is no need to wait for the light to go off every few minutes like my old (more expensive) iron. Iron glides over clothes when ironing. Very pleased with this and would HIGHLY recommend it to others too 10/10!!!

First iron I have used without a temp control dial and was not disappointed. Strange to hear the iron beeping as I chose the correct temp. As recommened in the instructions iron all clothes which need a cooler temp first, if you start off on high heat you have to go through the settings again for the cool one. Be careful when holding the iron as my hand has accidentally touched the heat control button and changed the temp on a few occasions. Getting used to it now and would definitely recommend.
