It does the job
Using this with a non-portable digital keyboard. Height setting variance is generous, so far looks like a sturdy bench. Cons are that the cushioning is not high density enough and thus the foam sinks all the way in down to the hard part and I am less than 150 lbs. Perfect!
I recently moved into an apartment and, having to leave my piano behind, purchased a keyboard through this site. Along with the keyboard was this bench. Truthfully, I wasn't expecting anything of superior quality based on the photos and cost of the bench. I was mistaken!The bench is extremely easy to set up and can be adjusted to different heights, which is very helpful when playing in different venues or having different individuals use the bench and keyboard. I am extremely plesaed and would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a solid, versatile, quality bench.

Thin, clunky to adjust, not suited for guest
This is well designed. It is thin (fore to aft). Its not a seat for girthy musicians like me. Storage seems easy, but because the seat top can come completely off, it adds to the concern that a visiting musician should only be offered a more sturdy stool. I feel like I can tip over on this stool. Great for personal use. Shop around and get one that feels like you can safely navigate 88keys.

Good bench!
This bench feels sturdy and the upholstery is well attached. It is also surprisingly light. Some may not prefer the design of the leg attachments to the bench: it is like a retractable post that inserts into a the bench rail. Leaving it up permanently won't be an issue, but if you needed a bench that can fold quickly, you may want something else. Otherwise, it's a superb bench

Nice and sturdy beginner bench.
Nice and sturdy bench to get you started. This came with the kit so didn't really expect more than a bench to get up and running with the new keyboard. Adequate for my daughter but the foam isn't quite dense enough for someone heavier. Worth the cost when bought as a kit with the keyboard, stand, bench, cover, and survival kit.
