Awesome stand but room for improvement
A note for potential buyers: the B&H web site says this stand only comes with the mic boom adapter (not the boom itself) for use with your own boom. According to the Ultimate Support web site, the Pro Plus version is supposed to include the mic boom. So when I called to order from B&H, I mentioned this. Great Stand
As a working musician I need a strong and reliable stand that works well, and since I am performing on stage it has to look good. This meets that need with some flair. The equipment it holds up looks great and is held sturdy. I am a classically trained pianist moving into the scene of live entertainment in my home town. Great stand, horrible boom
Purchased two of these. The stands and cases are wonderful. The case strap makes it easy to find the center of gravity and makes them a breeze to carry to a show. My big problem is with the boom connector. The point where the boom screws onto the stand started stripping immediately. Great Product
I had an original Apex stand in the late 1980's that was fantastic and the AX-48 Pro Plus continues the legacy of Ultimate Support's high-quality construction, ease-of-use, and very cool design aesthetics. My favorite feature is the ability to place the keyboard supports at any height, without being restricted to certain heights by notch height adjusters found on most other keyboard stands. I noticed that at first the folding legs can be difficult to snap into place, but once you get the hang of it, it's not a problem at all.

Just Right.
This stand is fantastic for many reasons, but I really enjoy it for it's portability. Yes, It's a little heavy, but I cannot get over how easy it is to setup. 1, It holds my two keyboard with ease, and they're 60+ Lbs. 2, It's the best looking performance stand on the market 3, Completely adjustable for what kind of performance you want to do. Fantastic stand for the price. I even use this stand for my studio setup at home. Highly recommend it.

Great design and quality stand.
This stand arrived a day ealier than scheduled, very solid stand. I used it as a stand for my in Home DJ controller. The price was also way cheaper for a new stand than what@ was offering to sell an incomplete open box item.I like the fact that you have the option of hiding you wires rather than having the cords for the equipments/laptop etc hanging and being exposed as in the case of a regular keyboard X stand without a skirt.

Just what I needed
I am a singer and a keyboardist. I purchased this because of two reasons: I have a digi rig that I connect via laptop and I always bring a mic stand because I sing as well. Even though I end up using my old mic stand to mount my laptop, for a singer that plays, this is a very essential purchase. Its sturdy, and the standard size, so pretty much anything can connect to it. Just makes me love my APEX stand even more!

Third tier pleas
The only thing missing from this is a third tier. I use this in a home studio, use it while seated. It'd be great to be able to mount two modulars on a third higher tier. No doubts the sturdiness of the unit would be fine for this. I see on their website you can buy the replacement parts to, in essence, do this but the price for the pieces add up to almost half the price of the entire unit.

EXTREMELY POOR CONTRUCTION
The first bag survived 2 carries from the car an back. One end tore out completely away from the stitches so that the end looked like it was MADE to pop open. Returned it , got a replacement. Not only did the SAME EXACT thing happen but in record ONE CARRY!!! On top of that, the carry strap was put in UPSIDE DOWN so that the shoulder padding was on top and therefore useless

Broke on the 2nd gig
The leg pin slipped out of place & jammed. Had to dis-assemble & try to repair at the show. What a huge hassle for a brand new stand. Never had this problem on their old model. I've had problems before with their so-called lifetime warranty on other stands where they claimed user eror & sent me the bill. Not cool.

exactly what I needed
I was considering using gear that I already owned and cludging my own boomstand, but decided that this was a good enough deal to spend the money instead. I'm glad I did because this was higher quality stuff that what I was planning on using. It came quickly and I am very happy with the purchase and the seller.

Ultimate In Support
I am using this stand to hold (3) 88-Key, weighted keyboards (Kurzweil K-2600XS, Roland Fantom G8, and Motif XF-8) and it is standing up to the challenge. I've received numerous compliments on how sleek it looks, and how small a footprint is required to hold such large keyboards.

Love this stand!
the stand is not light, but it's not overly heavy. It is heavy duty enough to handle regular gigging which is why I need it. Absolutely love this stand lays out exactly the way I wanted it to easily adjustable in Miner increments it's really a great stand for regular use

I'm playing keyboard for a while,and at times where I would like to stand as opposed to sitting and it was very complicated.But now that i purchased this stand i find it alot easier Plus it is a very heavy duty stand which is very good for heavy keyboards like mine

Excellent and practical product.
I use the Apex AX-48 keyboard stand for a heavier digital piano, on the bottom and a Roland Juno Di on top. Each keyboard is easily accessible and adjustable keyboard heights make playing very comfortable. This stand is very sturdy.

Great product!
Just started using the stand at gigs. Works much nicer that my old two tier stand. Easy to set up and takes up way less room in my car. The screw for the stabilizer was cracked but doesn't effect the stability at all. Great product.
