Needed a BIOS update
Installed this board with a Ryzen 3600 CPU. Everything worked fine except it would freeze on a cold start requiring the reset button to correct. The BIOS was about five versions old so I updated it to version 350 using the USB stick method. Now it works perfectly and starts faster.

Easy setup

Awesome Motherboard!!!
This motherboard is pretty amazing. Has all the specs as the normal Tomahawk but with automatic out of the box support for the Ryzen 3000 series as well with some other improvements. Excellent price for a mid range build! Thank you B&H!!!!!

Best budget motherboard
This is the best motherboard for a budget gamin setup. Runs my pc like a charm with no issues. I highly recommend the max as you do not need a bios update.

Works great with a ryzen 5 3600
Works fantastic with my ryzen 5 3600. The UEFI is a bit cut down but it's still functional. Bought this before the MAX boards came out

Perfect for the AM3+ 3600
Reason I purchased this motherboard due to it having out the box support bios support for the AMD 3600 vs. the non-max Tomahawk motherboard. Easy installation, no motherboard related hick ups for the first month of use. Be aware for the 3rd gen cpus, the motherboard will only work with Windows 10(I had peripherical issues when doing fresh install of Win 7.) Everything is was made clear on the MSI website.

3rd Gen Ryzen CPU Buyer Beware
I purchased this MB due to rave reviews all over the Internet. I believe this board has worked well for consumers using 1st and 2nd Generation Ryzen CPU's. However, I have a Ryzen 5 3600. I followed MSI's instructions to flash the bios from a USB drive. That process is easy and straightforward; it's great to not need an older CPU for updating the BIOS. It does not work with Ryzen 3700x
Do not buy it for Ryzen 3700X. Flashing the bios with the latest update does not fix the problem. It would not boot. Just got an MSI X570-A pro, and everything worked beautifully. Save yourself a headache and ignore the Tomahawk B450

Pretty Alright
Everything works pretty well, and the price is very nice. The only issue was a funky clip for the power cord from the power supply taking way more force to clip than I was comfortable with, but I got it. There's probably significantly better motherboards out there but not many at this price.
