Great Bag, Just Not for Me
This is a good product for what it is. It works well as a backpack for the Phantom 4 Pro. The new battery compartments in the door/flap have plenty of room for P4P (and I assume P4) batteries. However, for my purposes, this is not the pack I am looking for. I want a pack that can carry my P4P and accessories, as well as my Nikon D800 DSLR and extra lenses, filters, etc. The top compartment literally only fits the camera with an attached 24-120 le... Very Pleased with this purchase
I have only had the bag for a couple of weeks but have found no fault with it. I did some research and considered a number of bags. The two areas of concern was a) that the original D1 had battery pockets that were unable to accommodate the Phantom 4 battery and b) that the bag is seen as quite large and thus not suitable for carry-on baggage on flights. On the first, this was a newly designed bag with battery compartments widened to fit the Phan... Show More

Larger battery pockets!
Just got my D1 for my Phantom 4 from BH after they've been on backorder for awhile. I think I may know the reason for the limited stick lately-they seem to have revised the battery pockets! I've been reading reviews for months and one of the biggest gripes was that the two battery pockets were too small for the Phantom 4 batteries. So I was expecting to have put something else in those pockets. To my surprise the batteries fit perfectly, no probl... Show More

Perfect for the DJI Phantom series birds.
This bag is absolutely without fault. It has been well thought out and the workmanship is exemplary. There is nothing on this bag that needs improvement IMO. It holds the quadcopter, the controller, three batteries, charging brick and assorted cables, a laptop, a separate padded sleeve for an iPad and best of all my Canon 5D MK II with 24-105 lens and also has room for my Contax 18mm wide angle. You can equip a tripod with the included straps and... Show More

Awesome way to travel with your DJI Phantom 3 or 4 drone
I just got a Phantom 3 for Christmas and my first concern was traveling with the Drone. The drone is pretty big but this backpack does a good job at storing your drone and being discreet about what its holding at the same time. It has enough space to carry propellers, batteries, the remote and the charger. Not only that but its got great storing space for tablets & computers. The Manfrotto D1 Backpack also comes with an easy access storage on the... Show More

The Best Bag.
After weeks of search, and debate. I finally purchased my D1, and I am extremly happy I did. This backpack is the absolute best bag there is. I have been searching since the day I got my drone, the phantom 4, to find a way to replace the form. THIS IS IT. I ride my bike daily, and wanted a way of taking my drone. I take much more than my drone on my daily ride, about 16 miles. My daily things I have in my bag: 15 Inch Macbook pro, 20.000 mah batt... Show More

Fantastic Backpack for Hiking and Traveling
This is an awesome backpack for the phantom series drones. It is light and easy to cary on a long hike. There is even room for a DSLR or for my Mavic in the top compartment or snacks or other misc. items. The only reasons I am giving this 4 out of 5 starts and not 5 stars is for two reasons: 1. I wish there were water bottle holders on the sides. 2. I wish that the DJI phantom controller fit a little bit better. The image in the description shows... Show More

The best drone bag, hands down!
I originally bought the DJI Multifunctional bag for my Phantom 4. But I quickly realized that it can only carry the drone and remote. That's it. You can barely fit some small accessories and the Velcro wasn't if the best quality. I returned it as soon as I found this one. The D1 bag is the best bag all around. I had a very neat and tidy interior to fit your drone and plenty of accessories. Has neat piuches for extra batteries, propellers, and a s... Show More

Nice Pack for Hikes with the Quadcopter
Purchased this backpack to use with my DJI Phantom 4 Pro quadcopter. It is a nicely designed backpack that holds the drone and its accessories securely. I really like the feature that gives the ability to pack the drone with props attached for short treks. Others had expressed concern about the battery storage slots being too small for 4 Pro batteries but they do fit. A couple of nits that lowered my rating from 5 to 4 stars: The top compartment ... Very versatile, durable and great bag
This bag is vey nicely built, the straps can be configured in many ways, straps and back plate are both very comfortable and padded well. The storage of this bag is amazing. Holds both my dslr cameras, two lenses, the drone, two batteries, the controller and extra propellers. The size of the bag isn't terrible it's longer than a regular backpack but doesn't feel like a hikers bag and I'm only 5'8. There is also a zipper on the back pad for a lapt... Show More

A good backpack for the whole system and recommend it.
The big deal of this backpack is the 'dual' access capability, carrying the drone fully 'propped' in the special flap on the very back. The organization of the back pack is well thought out and the side pockets are very useful for props, charger and miscellaneous parts and accessories. The cushioning elements inside the main pocket of the backpack are well designed as additional storage areas (great idea). The only questionable characteristic of ... Show More

Probably the best drone carrying solution available.
I looked at many backpack solutions for my Phantom 4 Pro and decided on the Manfrotto D1 for 1 reason. It also has a large DSLR space in addition to the drone area. The only issue is that all the marketing verbiage makes it sound like it is also for the P4P. However, when the item arrived the tags state it works with the smaller drones up to the P3. The P4P fits but it takes some maneuvering of the upper storage area. It's tight. But it works. Th... Show More

Great bag for trav
This bag is just what I was looking for! The drone compartment is nicely padded and offers plenty of pockets for cables and accessories. I read other reviews that said the battery pockets are too small for the Phantom 4 batteries, but I found them to fit perfectly. In addition to my drone/accessories, this bag offers enough room for my DSLR w/accessories, along with my MacBook, iPad, and more. When I travel with my Phantom, this bag offers enough space to serve as my sole carry-on bag. The exterior dimensions conform to the carry-on size limitation imposed by most major airlines.

Very Nice
The D1 Backpack for Quadcopter is a great bag. Has lots of room for all kinds of accessories in removable pockets around the drone, room for a 17 inch macbook pro laptop AND Ipad mini in a case together in the laptop section, side pockets for props a top section for more stuff or a DSLR camera. The backpack is comfortable and has loops and a strap to carry a tripod strapped on the back. Also for moving fast you can keep the props on and secure it in the pack with them sticking out for changing locations. Also includes a rain cover. All in all it is a good buy.

Its Bigger on the inside
Well made Bag, comfortable on hikes, amazing how much it fits. and the padding is way better then expected. You do not have to remove the Device holder from the controller as shown but it does fit better if you do. I was able to fit my P3 pro, 3 Batteries, 2 sets of extra props, charger, battery hub, ND filter set, tool set, Ipad Mini 4, 13inch laptop, External HD, and in the top i can either fit my gopro casey case or my VR headset. The Go pro case is a tight fit but it will fit and zip up. I am excited to take it to the on our Oregon Coast trip this year.

Not a perfect fit for Phantom 3
Using this to transport a Phantom 3 standard. I'm surprised and disappointed the bag is a little too small. The drone motors are way too close to the edge of the bag where the zipper is located. The compartment for the remote control is also too small, causing the joysticks to be compressed. The other issue is the propeller pouch when loaded with 4 propellers, presses down on the camera when the bag is closed! Not good. To remedy that issue I moved the propellers to the side pouches. The material of the bag is good and it's comfortable on the back.

Brilliant, carry-all pack
Used this backpack on a non-profit assignment, creative mission in Haiti; was the best, most comfortable piece of luggage ever. Sure it was heavy (since carrying my MacBook Pro, iPad Mini, DJI Phantom 3 4K, Canon 5D Mark III with two lenses) but it was ultra comfortable with the waist straps. I was walking three to five hours per day with this on my back and it was wonderful. Truly a nomadic creative studio that housed all I need to help tell the story of a non-profit that provides urgent, mobile medical care to Haitians in rural areas.

Not the best
Bought tgis because of rave reviews and saw a few videos. Slightly disappointed for a few reasons. The bag does not offer a lot of protection. My p4p is touching the outer case in several areas and worse is the remote antennas can be in a bent position most of the time as it really doesnt fot the designated compartment. Finally I had hoped there would have been more space fir dslr body and two lenses, but the top compartment is really too small. In retrospect the think tank would have been better

Absolutely perfect
I have doing alot of research trying to find a dual purpose camera/ drone bag. Well, this is the perfect choice. I can fit my Canon rebel with extra lenses, charger, and other add ons. As well as my phantom 4 and all of its add ons. Literally everything fits nice and tight and well protected. It even has a padded spot in the back for your tablet or small laptop. Absolutely worth every penny and so convenient.

Comfortable and Spacious
This bag has plenty of space for almost everything, as long as you aren't bringing to many extra lenses (or telephoto). I test loaded it I would for a trip and I was able to configure it to hold everything I would need. No bag is perfect for every scenario, which is why we all own a few I'm sure. But this bag is a great way to carry everything you would need for a trip or an afternoon shoot.

Very functional bag, well made.
Very functional bag, well made. If you need to carry both drone and DSLR, bag works great. A little taller than expected, but very lite weight. Can ride a mountain bike and the top of the bag does not hit the helmet. Would be nice to be able to remove waist straps if not needed. Used with D300 and Phantom 3 Standard with gimbal guard attached. Includes room for those removable prop guards.

Perfect bag
Exactly what I was expecting. Quality is great, full of pocket to store all what you need. The dslr pocket fit my 60d+10.22mm lens on it, and an extra 55mm-250mm. Make sure to remove the tablet stand to maximize the space, need a little srewdriver I guess. The raincover come on the side, so be sure to keep in inside if you travel, I thought it will be under the bag like regular camera bag.

Outstanding!
This bag is everything I had hoped for. It protects the drone fully and makes transporting it seamless. There is even a few extra compartments to carry other things if need be. My only criticism is that the rc compartment is a bit tight. You need to wiggle it in at awkward angles at times. However, once in it fits perfectly. I highly recommend this bag to anyone!

Phantom 4 Pro
I did a lot of research as I always do finding this backpack for my P4P. For the price nothing compares, $139 from BH.....wow. Its got plenty of features and fits my P4P fine. I find it comfortable to wear over long distances. Its a bit heavy, as a backpacker I'd love something lighter but since its designed to protect the gear I'll sacrifice the weight.
