Good clear larger screen
Upgrading a desktop monitor for one of our employees. It's a big (27), clear screen that remains pleasant to look at from typical desktop distances (unlike, say, many 32 TVs, even if they have HDMI inputs.) Illumination is even - speakers are pretty good, though the volume control is inconvenient/slow to use so that I had to stop using HDMI for the sound input, since that has to be controlled at the screen, and moved back to an aux cord where it'... For what it is, its great.
I got this as a quick replacement monitor after I broke my main one and could not afford to replace it. Compared to that, sure, its not as good. But for $200, I'm more then pleased with it. My only gripe is it does have a dead pickle, not a big deal as when I do replace it for a better one later, I can still use it as a secondary monitor. But if your getting into the 27" range, and sit a couple feet away, you might want to go with 1440p. I sit approximately 3 to 4 feet away and the 1080p is fine.

I like them
I have been an ASUS geek for years. I have been running 4 24inch for five or so years. Needed some more monitors. I have them sitting on a tri-stand. I am running three, I really like them. I think next time I am going to spend the money to get the IPS'. Overall, they seem to be working great. There were some gripes for sound, but you don't buy monitors for sound, that's what speakers are for. If you want sound, get a sound system.

Work from home review
I was looking for a second monitor to connect to my work laptop. I work from home and I wanted my new monitor to have a VESA mount option and to use low blue light setting to reduce eye strain and fatigue. This one works great for work! My screen real estate can accommodate 3 screens plus a lap top screen as well. There is some backlight bleeding but its only visible at night. Great monitor for work!

Nice little 27 monitor
I purchased this monitor to replace an old Dell 27-incher that my daughter was using with her PS3 and as an extra monitor for her laptop PC. With its understated looks, great colour, fast response time and 1920x1080 resolution, and with its built-in speakers, it turned out to be a very good choice. Note: the stand provided with the monitor doesn't allow you to tilt it.

No frills, no gimmicks, but does OK
I guess if your looking for a simple monitor, there is nothing wrong with this one. But it has no features that make it stand out for any niche of use other then being cheap. If you have a niche purpose, I doubt you will be looking at this monitor for anything. Make sure you get it calibrated if you want it too look decent!

Great Monitor at a Great Price!
Every day on my main PC. Replaced an old 24 Samsung. Huge screen, bright, just hdmi plug and play. Didn't have to setup anything at all. Asus is an OEM so I already knew they were great.
