If you are someone who has always tried to write songs but gets stuck about halfway through, get this software. You can create full drum tracks in studio quality sound within minutes. It is truly the most amazing piece of music software I have used in the 20 years of making music.

EZ Drummer 2 is terrific
I am knocked out with EZ Drummer 2 - this is about as close as you can get to having a real kit mic'd up. I purchased this product for soundtracks as well as song demos. It's about as easy to use as a toaster. Although there were some communication issues between Pro tools 11 and EZD2 initially, I have to say that I truly like this product. I give it 8.5 out of 10 and for the money, a 10 out of 10.

EZ Drummer 2 is the shizzle
Dont want to deal with the drummer with the bad attitude? Dont have a drummer? This is the next best thing. I was skeptical, but once you start tapping in hits and browsing for midi you will undoubtedly agree this is the next best thing to sliced bread. Not to mention incredible sound and add on libraries (Metal Machine is my favorite) sample quality is incredible and mixer section is great for dialing in. It takes time and a few sessions to get used to this type of workflow but if your a aspiring producer this is your new best friend.
