Amazing pics for the price and size.
This prime lens take fantastic pictures. The F1.8 lets in lots of light and can produce a super-thin focus plane. The Bokeh for point sources is not perfectly round as advertised, it's a bit hexagonal, but it still looks gorgeous. I protected my investment by installing a clear B+W 49mm filter.

A Very versatile lens
Bought this lens for my A6000. This is my go to lens for everyday use due to its versatility. Perfect for both landscape and portrait. I would definitely choose this over the 50mm anyday.

Versatile lens for everyday use
I bought my Sony a6000 without the kit lens and instead purchased this lens to go along. After much research, I found that this is a great upgrade from the kit lens for overall everyday use. Perfect for A6300
Sharp images for photo/video use. You pay more for the OSS and the 1.8 on these lenses but its worth it for handheld work and work done on a gimbal as it helps smooth out the footage alot as well as low light situations. Not much else to say other than it works great for me.

Worth it!
I use this with the Sony A6000. The lens itself is beautifully made. The size is nice and compact. The focal distance is versatile enough that you can take portraits and some mid shots. Produces beautiful, sharp images. the built in OSS helps a bit when I try to take short video clips although you still have to consciously steady your hands when you're not using a gimbal or steady cam.

Sharp lens - great for the money!
This lens is extremely sharp! I am using it on an a6300 and the OSS very nice, plus it has pretty fast autofocus as well. For the price, I highly recommend this lens!

Sharp, fast and stabilized
Almost everything is great about this lens. It's fast, very sharp and has optical stabilization. Manual focusing pretty much doesn't work unless it is to do fine adjustment from auto focus. When autofocus doesn't work such as when attempting a closeup with a bright background, you can't focus at all. There should be a pure manual focus mode.

Great lens for a great price.
Bought this lens to be used on the Sony a6500 and so far I love it. The autofocus and image stabilization on this lens is amazing for video. Only thing I recommend is getting a quality UV filter to keep on the lens, the actual shape on the glass makes it hard to keep dust off.

Great light weight lens with fabulous image quality.
I did a lot of research on the sony e 35mm f/ 1.8 oss lens before purchasing. I usually buy used equipment thru b&h but this lens never came available so I strapped myself financially so I could have it for my trip to New Orleans in less than a month. I chose this particular lens for the lightness and great image quality. I am glad I did. I took a few practice shots at a vista point and though the hills and lovely colors were far away I was pleased with the lens performance. Would recommend to friends, family and anyone interested in a great lens.

Excellent lens, great for portraits
I love this 35mm. On my APSC, its about a 50mm. I use this for portraits and video . I use this also for video work on a gimbal. I love the autofocus paired with my a6500. I get a nice cinematic look while on a gimbal.

Fast and compact
The reason why I got a Sony a6000 was to have a light and easy to carry camera for traveling. I have had bad experiences with heavy gear in the past... but with an a6000 paired with the 35mm, I have a much better picture-taking experience. The autofocus is fast and the quality is lovely. I am happy with my purchase. My only concern was the price but despite it being high for a 50mm equivalent lens, I am not regretful of my purchase.

This lens goes where ever I go.
I originally purchased the FE 28mm thinking it was a better piece of glass. But VOW was obviously smaller and lack of image stabilization was a downer. This lens is a nice prime lens to have. The focal length is just right for walking around with but its also a good length for video use. I use this in tandem with the E 50mm.

Great little lens except.
This is an amazingly sharp lens..Focus is awesome, size is tiny, loved it, but no weather seals so it had to go as I live in Seattle. :)

Sharp glass at an affordable price
Bought this for my first lens after the kit lens and i love it. The f1.8 is great for low light and the OSS helps me a bit too for handheld video work which is mainly why i have this. Sharp video and photos!

The E lens you must buy
It pairs perfectly with the a6000. Its great for all around. Sharp, lovely bokeh, and Low chromatic aberration, though it does have some vignetting at 1.8. Nothing that Lightroom can't solve.

Light, small and great bokeh
This is my first Prime for my a6300 and am very happy with it. I was looking for a lens to: 1) Allow me to shoot more low light / lower ISO indoors 2) a lens to achieve great bokeh 3) a lens that is not $1K+ and light and small so I am able to take it everywhere. This lens clicked off all these boxes above. I love the background blur and the fact that this lens is sooo light, but still feels durable and not cheap. Highly recommended for a reasonable prices low light prime lens.

Must have for the a6300
I use this lens for video work mostly. It has fast and accurate continuous autofocus which is extremely handy for gimbal work. The OSS is also a pretty good perk. At 52mm equivalent on the a6300 crop sensor it is a great focal length for most shots. At 1.8 it's very sharp and has good bokeh. This lens won't preform like the new G Master lenses (which should maybe go without saying), but if you're on a budget and can only get one lens this is the best bang for your buck. Delivers excellent shots and is a massive upgrade from the a6300 kit lens.

New to Sony Mirrorless.. This is the only lens you need
I use this lens for everything right now, and i haven't met a task i cannot complete. I have done 2 model shoots with this lens exclusively, and countless other general photography projects.
