Yongnuo YN 50mm f/1.8 II Lens for Canon EF (Black)
Nifty 50 plus
All the benefits of a Canon 50mm f1.8, but with a metal mount - and at a friendly price. A good knock-around lens when traveling light. Also, I find that using such a simple no-frills kind of lens helps me to reconnect with they way I learned photography back in the Tri-X Pan days, before we all got caught up in the technology.

Good
I had the older version of this lense and i am enjoying this one so far. It is much sharper and performs well. The zoom ring is smooth and its not too noisy. Got this shiped so fast i appreciate the time and effort it took to get my product will always remain a customer with B&H

Good Bokeh
This lens is fantastic for the price. Good bokeh, easy to use. My result with 6D and 70D for bokeh is better than Canon EF f/1.8 STM. Recommended for "once in a while" lens collections.

Not as good as the first version
The design looks good, but it isn't nearly as sharp as the first version. I bought this lens to do a review and have already sent it back. Even with micro adjustment it is still soft. I tried it in low light also, and I could never get even a somewhat sharp image. Stick with the first version or the Canon 50mm stm.

You get what you pay for
This lens is alright for beginner. Not too sharp. It don't come with any carry pouch or shade.
