Picture quality is sharp.
Bought as a gift to my nephew and according to him A good camera for beginners. Gives a good competition for present latest cameras in the market. Can hold many kind of lenses. But when compared to other dslr cameras battery life is low other than that everything seems fine with the camera.

A number one, top of the heap, as somebody once said. owned umpteen cameras over the years, from advanced compacts to dslrs trying to find the right balance between handling and image quality, (I am disabled) but this is the best ever. very tactile, you just want to hold it. image quality stunning with right lenses. buy it, you wont regret it

Sony A6000
After using compacts for 20 years due to kids growing up and my slr was too cumbersome, it was a pleasure to find that things have moved on. This camera is amazing, easy to use after a couple of days playing with it. The pictures are spot on and I can use all my old lenses with an adapter.

Good camera
Good camera, especially in auto focusing mode. Deals with my hand tremor really well. Wish videoing time was longer (20 mins), but clearly mentioned in the manual so I can live with it. Overall very pleased with the initial results.

High quality, easy to use camera
Over the past year, I have been using my sister's DSLR for my a level photography, I got this camera almost two weeks ago and I love it so much more, it is much lighter, way easier to use and produces photos that are just as high quality as a huge DSLR

Fantastic camera!
This is the perfect camera for people who likes to take quality photos but also wants to carry light when travelling. All the features needed to take awesome photos and videos are all in. Sony lenses are expensive but it’s worth it!! Definitely buy it and try it yourselves!

Picture quality looks better on Laptop or Tv
I wasn’t sure of the picture quality on the camera but when I connected it to a laptop it looks a lot better.

Sweet but a little tough
Sony mirrorless cameras have been recommended to me and because I am still learning I chose the a6000, instead of the newer versions of a7. In terms of settings, there is a lot to play with. I’m still learning aperture, ISO, shutter speed and balance all these plus other settings, it gets difficult sometimes. But it all comes with experience and online video tutorials are helpful! I highly recommend this camera as once you get the basics, you can level up by getting better lenses too.

Fab camera
The camera produces really nice images and the zoom is pretty good. Only downside is that it takes around 4 hours to charge. Please note the photos I took are slightly edited and uploading them lowered their quality.

perfect for newbies
It's very user friendly and for everything else there's YouTube tutorials. So easy to move photos and videos to your phone, great quality. I love my Sony A6000.

The wife's Christmas present and she loves it.

A6000 mirror less camera.
Wanted something a bit smaller to carry about instead of my DSLR. This camera although they not used it much fits the bill. The kit lens does feel a little cheap but I guess time will tell. All in all this camera although 4 years old still ticks all the boxes.

Wonderful! Easy to take amazing pictures.
Really love this camera. I didn’t what a DSLR as I find them too heavy. The A6000 is not heavy or cumbersome. Easy to use. Used it to take pictures at my cousin’s wedding and everybody commented on how great the pictures were. I’m really happy. The silver colour looks great too - very retro looking.

Does what a full size DSLR in half the size
Great for holidays etc, like the old saying the best camera is the one you have with you and because of the size there is no reason not to take it with you wherever you go.

Fantastic entry level mirrorless camera
This camera is amazing for it's value and can compete with some of the higher end cameras. If you want great stills and picture quality, this camera is perfect. However, for video, you probably want to look for a higher end camera as this does not do 4K and there is very limited option for recording audio. For the price and features, this camera is superb.

Great all round camera
Brilliant camera. A fantastic selection of modes and features, and the ability to take manual control is also really useful. Have taken high quality pictures on both auto settings and manual mode so far. Great value too.
