The One I Ended Up Choosing
I was shopping for a good solid tripod to take on a couple of extended trips.Part of the requirement was to be able to use a 75mm bowl for a video head.I came down to the Sirui SR-3204 and Robus RC-5558.I called B&H to ask about both models, but the associate wasnt able to provide any information other than the specs listed.So I ordered both.I like and would recommend both.I am just wanting to provide some hands-on impression differences beyond t... Excellent design, solid construction.
I needed a tripod for shooting with long primes in windy conditions where a monopod is not ideal. Although there were no reviews of this model, I have used the Sirui monopod to support my 500mm F4, camera with grip and gimbal flawlessly for months, so I decided to chance purchasing the 3 section version of this tripod.
