Excellent, but...
A great looking and solid piece of equipment. Rigid, well functioning leg locks and the right tool for those big lenses. But...I am used to a levelling base and headed out for a month long shoot in a few weeks and RRS is quite independent and projects a four month delay in providing their TA-4s. Advertised seven to ten day special order on one model and back-ordered on the other. Of course I found this out after the tripod was delivered and I began contacting B&H and RRS. Four stars for poor support is generous.

Beyond expectations
This thing is awesome! Lightweight, super stable, highest build quality possible. Spend the extra money for this over the other high end brand, trust me - you will not regret it! Spend once, cry once .. this is the one and done tripod you want for big expensive glass.

Superb tripod
This tripod is capable of going very high, or very low. Amazingly capable. It is rigid, quite light and is exactly what I wanted.
