Really Right Stuff TA-2-LB Series 2 Leveling Base with Platform

An amazing tool to level panos and gimbal heads

The TA-2-LB is an amazing leveling base for the RRS Series 2 tripods. It allowed me to mount my BH-55 ball head perfectly on a Series 2 tripod. Although the leveling base fits into the TVC tripod, the base plate on top is the same as a Series 3 versa base. This setup allows me to take my tripod down to it's lowest point without any issues. Show Morebase of the tripod. the TA-2 leveling base is easy to use and works perfectly with all my camera setups. I heard that some people are concerned with the leveling base being outside the normal bowl of the tripod, but I didn't find any issues. I've taken it to the beach with blowing sand, and it's never been an issue. I believe you have just as much exposure with any leveling base.Show Less
