It just works
Enjoying the RP but wanted a plate for my QR clamp on my tripods. Nobody really offered one until RRS released this one. Cannot say too much about the superb fit and finish (like all RRS products). It fits like it came with the camera. Only downside is that it could be difficult for some to put the camera battery in and out because the battery door becomes a bit recessed due to the design of the RP. Fits perfectly
Fits my EOS RP like a glove, and doesn't add a lot of weight to it. Can still open the battery compartment and use the inputs on the side without issue, including a shutter release with the camera in portrait orientation on a tripod. Only downside is it restricts the range of motion of the LCD screen, but it can still be flipped out and turned a bit for getting the shot at a strange angle.

Easier to change orientation than using the tripod ball
I really like this and it makes changing from landscape to portrait orientation easier than trying to adjust the ball on my tripod. The only downfall is that it makes getting the battery out of the camera a little tight, and if you move the screen on the back of the camera, you have to work around it.

Expensive but well made
Almost $100 for a simple piece of metal is expensive. But it fits perfectly and was mandatory to guarantee a good fit with my RRS tripod heads. Well made and nicely finished. Fast and hassle free service from B&H as expected!
