I installed this in a eGFX BREAKAWAY BOX w/650W POWER SUPPLY and other than a few quirks of Mac OSx and bootcamp/Windows it's great. Rendering video in Premier Pro is as much as 60-70% faster than the builtin graphics.

BEWARE! Did not work on Macintosh
I tried it in my Silver Tower Mac and it did not work. Tried it in Linux and Windows and it did. I used it but it does not work on Macintosh

Mac Pro Graphic Board Upgrade
I purchased the Radeon RX 580 Bundle for my 2012 Mac Pro. The latest OS upgrade required graphic support for Liquid and the OEM board is too old. This board fits perfect and with the supplied power connector is easily attached. Note that this board does NOT support the older Display Port I used for my LED Cinema screen. But, thanks to Amazon, I found an adaptor for $10 that worked perfect. I'd suggest B&H include that adaptor in the bundle.

Works great in a 2009 Mac Pro with OS Mojave
I have a 2009 MacPro 4.1 upgraded to 5.1. I was using an Nvidia graphics card which was working well but could not be used with the MacOS 10.14 Mojave due to lack of driver. I purchased the Radeon RX580 and after installing it in my computer was able to upgrade the OS to Mojave. Installation and upgrade went without problems and my computer is up and running the latest operating system without problems. The Radeon card is very quiet, and it allows me to edit 4K video using Final Cut Pro and large RAW format photos.
