Nice Befree Tripod Upgrade
I purchased this quick release plate to update my MKBFRA4-BH travel tripod to an Arca-type. This quick release adapter accomplished this task and allows the tripod legs to close completely and fit into the original travel case. The only negative is that the small bubble level is impossible to see when the camera is mounted and the plate does not utilize a secondary retaining pin for safety if the clamp is accidentally opened.

Perfect for the old BeFree
I got this to replace the kludge I had on the top of my BeFree Carbon MKBFRC4-BH (a Sirui QR mount on top of the old Manfrotto style QR plate). This is smaller, lighter, and has less chance of dropping my DSLR since the old kludge had TWO places to unmount things. And yes, it fits between the legs of the BeFree Carbon when inverted for travel.

An Arca type clamp for Befree Tripod
I prefer to use Arca type plates on my medium and large format film cameras. The Befree travel tripod with its very small ball-head is not exactly the optimum choice for those cameras, but because of it's light weight and portability I find myself using it more frequently. So this clamp is a welcome product from Manfrotto.

Ok replacement mount
Well made. Nice addition of a bubble level, but not a major upgrade from the original mount. I found the lock knob a little short and is almost hidden by the camera body. I don't find it any quicker or safer than the original 200PL-PRO Quick Release Plate.

Perfect fit to tripod & holder
I had a no-name adapter that didn't fit tight to the tripod. This one is made expressly for the specified Manfroto heads and has the precise round fitting with ridge to fit the round slotted flange of the tripod. And it works fine with the camera bracket.

Glad they came out with this
This is a great replacement for the proprietary lock it comes with. This allows me to use the L bracket I have on most of my cameras. I gave it 4 stars because this should have been an option, not a $35 add-on.

Great Product for Manfrotto Tripods
This is a great product that fits my Manfrotto ball head perfectly! It is light and well made. Now I can use my Acra Swiss L-Braket with Manfrotto Ball Heads! Get this!

I can finally use arca swiss plates.
I am just happy I can use arca swiss plates now. The only con as of now is the bubble is covered by my camera.

Does what they claim it will.
Arca adapter works very well - holds my Canon 5D MK IV with a 150-600 Tamron G2 lens safe and securely.
