It was really nice to be able to find this quickly without expensive shipping. I bought this now rather than later because its so easy to forget where you put these from time to time so its going to be a backup, in case. I used to shop @ but the shipping there became more of a hassle than its worth. B&H ships the same day even if its free.

Smaller than original part. Insecure fit.
This piece is smaller than the original quick release plate that came with my Compact Action tripod. The other one provider a secure fit and the camera doesn't move. The new one is smaller and insecure. The camera easily turns horizontally when mounted. Not recommended.

Great Replacement, Wish Design Was Better
I lost my quick release plate, and B&H by far had the best price to replace it. I wish the plate would come with a hole so you could connect the plate to the tripod. It's such an easy part to lose. Other than that, great tripod.

Very good and fast shipping
I always have the same problem with this plate, because it drops from the camera and get lost in the middle of the shooting, but hopefully, we always can buy a replacement and make sure it's well tight to the camera or tripod.

exactly what you need for the little tripod
it's a nice little mount. Hand-screw in (no more stray nickels). it sits a little off the bottom of the camera, of course, so I don't leave it there. But i can pop it on when I need to use the tripod so it works great.

Great Gadget!
I was given a second hand Manfrotto Compact Action Tripod without the plate. I ordered one and I love how the whole thing works. Easy on and off. I will definitely order another one for my video cam.

Best price online for the real thing
I have several pieces of equipment that I switch out on my manfrotto tripod and I looked everywhere. So glad I checked B&H. These extra plates were half the price of the other options.
