Sturdy replacement for lost rubber foot
I bought this one as a replacement for a lost rubber foot that was nowhere to be found (B&H, @you name them). This foot is very sturdy and thanks to the tightening screw is very well attached to the monopod - much better than the original slide on rubber foot. SS Retractable Spiked Foot Adapter
As is typically of Manfrotto products, this is very well constructed and fit my Manfrotto 3006 monopod perfectly. Only issue is the cost of the item. The spiked foot also includes a very nice T-handle Philips screwdriver. This is an additional item that isn't really needed since any Phillips screwdriver would work. Therefore, the cost of the item could be lowered by not including the screwdriver since the foot is permanent and doesn't require use of a small screwdriver in the field.

I would buy this product again and agai
Excellent firm fit to tripod. I like best the heavy rubber fitting that screws down when on hard surface, and the spike, for soft surface. . .

Firm Footing
Can adjust retractable spiked foot for sensitive floors such as vinyl, or extend the spike for slippery rocks.
