Good Replacement For Original Pads
Several years ago I bought a used Manfrotto 503 fluid head, one of the two 501PL plates that came with it had no rubber pads, tripod screw, or the rubber plug that keeps a tripod screw from dropping out. Perfect replacement for lost pad
I lost one of the pads on one side of my Manfrotto 501 video head plate. This Manfrotto part was a perfect replacement. It seems like it is very secure to the plate. The package come with two pads. I only needed one, so I will save the other in case I lose the other side.Others thoughts: Cheaper than buying a whole new plate.

A Must Have
Anyone who owns a 501PL Plate for an extended amount of time knows that the glue releases holding these little guys on and it's quite easy to lose them. These are perfect replacement parts. I've had success, so far, by super glueing them on.

You'll need them soon enough..
If you own a Manfotto quick release plate, your going to need to buy these after a few years. I have several manfrotto release plates and the rubber pads have fallen off most of them. Seems the adhesive is only good for 5 years or so. I wish the replacement pads came with Adhesive backs, but they don't so you'll you'll have to use your own glue.
