Perfect fit for an old tripod
I bought these to replace a broken locking lever on an old Bogen 3021/Manfrotto 055 tripod that I have had for a very long time. It is pretty heavy tripod and I don't haul it around much, but its weight and stability are really needed sometimes. Works on other (old) Bogen/Manfrotto tripods too!
Notwithstanding the product description, these work on my old Bogen 3035 tripod (mid '80s vintage) and I suspect others from tha era. You need to remove an existing lever and see if there is a single spiral ramp or two (as was used in later tripods sold in the '90s) to verify. I have an older Bogen tripod - have had a couple of these levers broken and could not find replacements for years. Gave up and stored the tripod until I found these only at B&H. Back from the dead
I have had a Bogen 3021 tripod for many years (maybe 30 ?). For at least ten years it has been in my photographic scrapheap, because the locking levers were broken. I saw the Manfrotto R055 Single Spiral Locking Levers on the B and H website and took a chance that they would work; they did. My Bogen 3021 is back in action. It's a beast.

Just glad B&H still sells these!
They are the newer version which are stronger than the original. Changed all on my Bogen 055 which is still a fine tripod. Always carry a spare, as they can break in cold weather and due to material aging. I had one that keeps opening on me, so I had to rough up the surface of the lever a bit to stay closed.

Fantastic Product!!!
This product is amazing. Without it my tripod would lean to one side or I would always have to carry a pair of pliers with me. Installation was a breeze, I only needed 1 tool and I was done in a matter of less than 5 minutes. I highly recommend this product to anyone that needs it.

Great Replacement parts

Service was fine, wrong part
Despite my intense investigation of what part I needed, this was the wrong part for my tripod. According to what I found on this and other websites it was correct but in the end it would not work with my tripod which is an old #3021 with #055 mount

If only I'd known!
If only I'd thought to look for a replacement part to this broken lever, I could have saved myself years of work-arounds and carrying around a pliers to adjust this leg! Easy to swap out and works like a charm now.

Fits Bogen 3036
I have an old Bogen 3036, exact replacement. the screws are for the bottom clamp. the top clamp screws are longer so need to reuse. be careful not to over tighten the nuts.

Tripod repair.
The repair was straight forward, but n my opinion $19.00 is sccessive for a 6 mm x30mm bolt and 20 grams of molded plastic lever.
