I use this plate almost every other day in the summer, and it's leaps and bounds better than the one that came with my actual Manfrotto. The construction is more solid and has a lot more heft to it as a result. It's also metal, which may prove detrimental as I shoot near a lot of seaspray, but time will tell.

This plate was advertised to be a replacement for the stock plate on the Manfrotto MKC3-H01 tripod. It fits but does not lock in place. I had to modify the lock pin to fit the new plate.
