Always good to have extra quick-release plates
These are the real deal. I now can keep one on my camera and one on my computer tray. I was always afraid I would lose the plate and not be able to use the tripod, but now I know you can just get more plates. Just what I needed!

Necessary for your backup cameras or telephoto lenses
I was always using arca-swiss mounting plate for a long time. but time I want to choose a light but with enough supporting tripod for travel. I chose the manfrotto 190GO M-SERIES CARBON 4 SECTION WITH BHQ2 ball head kit.

Perfect Solution
This small accessory worked as expected on my Manfroto tripod and enabled me to use an accessory that had a 3/8 threaded hole used for attaching mounting on a Manfroto tripod. A high quality, well made product. Highly Recommended.

Fits and works
I have an old Manfrotto tripod with the hand grip ballhead and needed to replace this plate. It was identical to the original and I was thankful to be able to find it after as many years as I had the previous one.

does not fit
Unfortunately I was told that this would fit my Manfrotto 290 series MT294A3 and it doesn't. Disappointed.

i used & loved the hex plate mounts. this takes a minute to learn which side inserts first, but typical Manfrotto pro-use quality

Secure and solid

Great travel tripod head
This handles my Canon 5DM4 with 24-70mm f/2.8 lens on a small travel tripod. It does a great job and keeps my tripod overall weight to a minimum.

Great mini ball head
This is a small version of the well known Manfrotto ball head. I got this one for a smaller tripod I use while hiking. The controls are different that older versions, with smaller knobs for tensioning and locks. Comes with both the quick release and swiss release.

Good standard
Standard high quality Manfrotto QR plate. These now come with a snap-in pin for compatibility with video cameras, spotting scopes, and such that come with an anti-twist recess.

Works but requires attention
Ball head supports my D500 with Nikkor 200-500 f/5.6. Mostly smooth, needs some breaking in. Working to find a balance between the friction and release knobs for the smoothest movement. Satisfied.

Good Quick Service but item was probably overpriced
The quick release plate came promptly and did work with my tripod head, I just think 20.00 for a couple ounces of metal with screw in the middle seems a bit high. The item probably cost less than a couple dollars to make.

Feels Nice & Solid
I think I'm going to like this ball head. I've had it now for a month or so but haven't used it yet because it's a 3/8 in screw in and my older tripod is 1/4 inch, which I was going to attach it to. So I've decided to get a new new tripod, a manfrotto, instead of just getting the screw adapter to attach it to my older tripod. I think the adapter should have been included since they're pretty cheap anyway thus the four stars for the hassle

Ok
This works but is not an exact fit for by 3262qr (I think I got that model number rt) but I am at work, ballhead. Anyway, I'm using it on a kind of low priced spotting scope. I won't use it with either of my dslr's. I'd have some concern it might come out of the ballhead when you don't want it too if ur not careful. Again, it fits it just doesn't fit exactly right.

Perfect Match
I found a Bogen 3265 tripod at our dump's Boutique. The only thing missing was the release plate. This did the job. I got a great "new" tripod for the price of a release plate!
