Expensive but worth it for runners
Well the only type of headphones allowed on most official races nowadays, means I can listen to my music while I'm running, Bluetooth connected without any problems at all, while audiophiles won't appreciate the sound quality and lack of bass they are somewhat safer for street running than conventional headphones, I can hear what's going on around me a lot better with these while also almost having music in the background. Battery life seems pretty good so far, will last all but the longest race

Great race legal running/sport headphones
I bought these headphones recently for use in running races, as these are the only race legal brand. These Aftershok are very good. I have always used Bose Headpones and good sound is very important to me. If Bose sound is 5* these are definitely a good 4*. They are more than fine for running, they go loud and you can hear and enjoy your music as much as with regular headphones, but you can also hear what is going on around you. I also like you can use them as a headset for phone calls too.

Comfortable and convenient
I was interested in a pair of headphones that would be comfortable to wear, have a good sound quality but allow me to be aware of external conversations, noises etc. These are not headphones to isolate you away from all other audible distractions they will still allow you to engage and listen to other audible prompts. As they do not fit in ear they are much more comfortable. It is like having your own subtle background music while still allowing you to function and interact with others.

Great running headphones
I bought these to compete in an endurance running race, as bone conducting ear phones are the only type permitted. They are the entry level open earphones from aftershokz, and I have not tried the others in the range to compare them to. Compared to my previous in-ear earphones, they offer a similar level of sound quality (and are perfectly good for running with). They synced first time with my phone, which is a blessing. They have a really good battery time (over five hours each time thus far).

Very Firm and Does Not Block the Ears
Recommended to me, great headset, sits very firmly in place and easy to use. Can cause slight irritation/discomfort when in place for prolonged duration, in which case I simply drop them around my neck. Simple to use and audio quality is very good (but no superb), perfect for my requirements (calls, audio etc). Also very compact and practical (no long wires dangling). Best headset I have purchased to date (as the ear holes and not blocked out so you can still hear what is going on around you).

Get outside and let the music do the talking
The biggest problem for me when working out has been headphones wires getting in the way or wireless earbuds falling out midway through a run, well not anymore. Finally a pair of headphones that get the job done, without interfering on the sound quality. They connect well to smartphones and smart devices, and you’re able to control the sound levels on the side of the headphones. They’re comfortable against the the ears and provide you with that much needed sound boost during your workouts.

Brilliant bone conduction headphones
Sleek and trendy design. They are very light and comfortable to wear as they dont go into your ear or completely cover it. I found it really easy to connect to my phone by bluetooth. Calls are easy to take using these and the sound quality is superb. Battery life is excellent 6 hours and I found these really easy to charge. Brilliant for the gym or bike ride as they are sweat resistant. I use these in the gym and walking around built up areas and could still hear what's going on around me.

Great quality
I love these headphones not only are they wireless they are unique in a way that they deliver sound through your cheekbones. So they are safe to exercise etc as you can hear everything around you while you listen to your favourite music. They are water resistant and are comfortable to wear and don't slip off your head. The sound is superb and you can even take calls at a touch of a button. They are easy to set up by bluetooth it litrally takes 5 minutes and they are ready to go. Great product!

Best headphones that keep surroundings in check
As an avid runner and cyclist this pair of headphones has changed my whole experience. The headphones sit in front of the ear which allows myself to listen to music but also listen to my surroundings so I can be safe in my activities whereas conventional headphones block out the sound of the surroundings which can be a hazard. The sound quality is excellent, they are so light can't even feel you're wearing them. The product and accessories (pouch, cable and ear buds) have a real luxury feel

Good fit and sound
First time with bone conduction headphones and was not disappointed- the sound quality is great. It's quite odd to be able to hear ambient sounds as well - in a good way. If in a very noisy place you can't hear the music eg heavy traffic, which is fine for safety anyway. The fit is good - a few other reviews said they're too big but the bit that connects left to right "earpiece" is rigid and not supposed to touch your head I think. They don't bounce while running. Can ache after a while tho

Sound quality is great and loud
The headphones look very cool. The sound is very good quality, the volume goes really high (more than I expected) so is great for blocking out background noises. At its highest volume it does vibrate as it drums are within it, so I kept it at a good level. One issue is that when you look up or raise your head the back of the headphone leans against the back of your neck. This may be ideal for cyclist as they keep looking down but for general walking not so good. Overall was happy with it.

headphones sound good
I was surprised that they sounded good being on the outside of the ear, wearing them means no more sweat in the ear when running or in the gym, couple of dislikes :- when running the rear of the headphones on the back of the head where bouncing up and down, got really annoying, Also when wearing them to relax in a chair they were uncomfortable, rear of headphones were in the way as daft as it sounds, good points , don't take long to charge, lightweight , good sound , all in all not bad,

Unsuitable for any sport.
I am a runner and I bought this wireless headphones. They are meant to vibrate on the temple bone but they gives me headaches and I cant hear clear music. Bringing away from the bone to the ears sounds better but the headphone float at the back of the neck moving in rocking motion during exercise. It's too still and causes my ears to ache.They claim "safest" but the only way to hear music is putting volume up. This is not ideal in the gym as everyone hears your music and it is annoying.

Better than I’d hoped
I wanted to try these for bike riding and walking my dogs. I worry that I won’t hear traffic and etc and therefore wouldn’t use my headphones. But walking and cycling is so much better with music! I tried these and thought they would work but wouldn’t be as good as normal headphones. I was wrong. It’s weird, like really loud music by your ears but if someone talks to you or there is a big noise you can still hear them! I love them and they are far more comfortable to wear too!

Decent but not spectacular
Both myself and my husband tried these headphones and whilst I found them very comfortable to wear as nothing has to go inside your ear, my husband found them too small and felt they pressed too hard on his tragus on his ear.They aren’t adjustable which isn’t great as they were too big on me and too small on my husband. They are very easy to set up but very noisy and may annoy people around you as they lose a lot of sound via leakage. Overall, they are a little disappointing.

Wonderful kit
Absolutely superb piece of kit .having looked tirelessly for a pair of running headphones I was recommended these by a friend .they stay on your head without moving an inch ,despite running off road. the sound quality is amazing and they are easily charged and wiped down after a run and on top of that they come in some great colours .I liked them that much I bought myself and my partner a pair . Used the click and collect and picked them up within half an hour of ordering them.

AfterShokz - definitely a game changer
These definitely take running and other outdoor exercise activities to a whole new level. They can feel uncomfortable at first but you soon get used to the feel of them. They are a secure fit. NO WIRES, no more faffing about with ear/headphone wires, it's a godsend. The sound may not be upto the highest standard for some people but these are designed so that you can also hear everything around you, traffic for example without compromising the quality and volume of the sound.

Safe, secure with great sound quality 5* Win
Always used eyepods in the passed, although sound quality was good, they never seem to stay lodged in my ears well enough, a few of my friends suggested I try Aftershokz Bone Conduction, so I decided to make the leap, they are amazing, they give great sound quality, they don’t slip out of my ears due to the design, plus I am now aware of road noise and can have a conversation whilst still have music playing in the background - Very Happy with my purchase, highly recommend.

Great but not the most comforatable
Sound quality is far better than I thought.. There is an issue when you are in a noisy place, but that's not what these are designed for. Also, they give you some earplugs for just such an occasion which work surprisingly well. My major gripe is the comfort. They curve over your ear but after 30 mins you can feel them digging in to the top of your ear. The band around the back of your head is very rigid and not quite the right size. But overall, I would recommend.

Fantastic for running and cycling
These are fantastic for running and cycling. Really comfy and can hear background noise like traffic so great for safety. If your really bothered about perfect sound quality there are better headphones, but for safety and comfort running and biking I’ve found nothing close. If you want headphones for the gym, these are not the correct item as you still heat the gyms music and that is not there purpose. I wouldn’t use anything else for running and biking though!

Great for running and cycling
Have tried both the Aftershokz Trekz Titanium and Trekz Air headphones now. These headphones are considerably cheaper and offer the same practical functionality (ability to listen to surroundings and music at the same time). These are slightly heavier than the Trekz Air model but it was not noticeable to me (however my wife did notice the difference and prefers the Trekz Air). For me it would have been 5 stars other than the fact that the design is a bit clunky.

Running with my music is easy and safe!
These headphones are brilliant! I am always conscious of running with headphones in with crossing roads and pavement traffic, but these headphones take all the concern away. You do forgo some sound quality, but you can hear everything around you and it doesn't distract you from the music! They take a little getting used to as at first they are not the most comfortable, but I wouldn't look back now as these are the best, safe, value choice on the market.

Great headphones!
These headphones are awesome! Ive never used anything like this before so it was a very unique experience for me. My favourite thing about these headphones is that you can still hear everything around you whilst listening to music, This made me feel so much safer when out and about. The sound quality is shockingly good considering that the speakers rest on your cheekbones! The design is pretty cool too, they look great and stay in place even when running!

Super for keeping ears free!
This is a super product for what it is. I love the idea that I can keep my ears free while listening to something. Not only is it good for outdoor safety when walking out and about, doing sports, but even at home for example, I can be sure that I don't miss hearing the door knock, have a conversation and listen without taking off regular headphones/earphones or pausing. This is designed well, it stays in place, is flexible, easy to use and appealing.
