Loving my BenQ so far!
I had my mind set on an Apple Display to go aside my MacBook Pro. Well, that statement alone tells you how out of the display game I was. I didn't know they discontinued their displays several years ago. So then I was on the hunt for a good monitor for my graphic design and photography editing needs. I'm LOVING my BenQ so far. For the price... it's unbeatable! The resolution and color accuracy so far is incredible. I'm overjoyed with my purchase. I'm glad I purchased through B&H versus other retailers, the shipping process and tracking my package was a breeze.

Nice looking monitor but would be better if it worked as expected
I purchased this display for editing in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects. I could not connect it to my Mac Pro 2013. Is the Thunderbolt 2 port. I got no connection using the monitors Mini Display port or DP. It only works via HDMI. This was very disappointing considering the good reviews this monitor has received. Hopefully BenQ responds to my inquiry with a commitment to remedy the problem.

I have not had a chance to use but Looks good
Installation was tricky using a dv input instead of HDMI as it was set up for as a default. The directions did not clearly address the procedure to change the input source cable so I had to play with it a while to get the monitor to function. I looked at a Star Wars blu ray on it and it looked good with nice contrast for depth.

No problems with this monitor
I haven't had any problems with this monitor, and the display is very clear. The included stand has full range of motion. The physical buttons are not labeled, but the on-screen menus are relatively easy to follow, and everything can also be adjusted through the Display Pilot software. The software is a bit complex, though.

Great monitor for designers and photographers! Quality/Price
B&H: - Shipping was super fast! - Everything was as described in the product details page BenQ +: - Monitor actually looks nicer in real - Colors are great. Compared them with my MacBook Pro Retina and colors, details & contrast are very similar - Easy to turn monitor side ways, up and down, tilt it and flip it 90deg. - Super easy to install BenQ -: - I would have loved the screen to auto-rotate when you flip your monitor on portrait mode -I ... Great value for money.
Look and feel are great overall, it is very well built. The colors are super accurate. I had just calibrated my Macbook and I see no differences. I am a photographer and I mainly work in sRGB. For those like me who don't like the little blue ring, it's really more subtle when you see it in real. The stand works well and many cables comes with the Monitor. At first, I was looking forward to seeing how my laptop was going to work with this Monitor ... Show More

Beautiful, pre-calibrated 4K (3840 x whatever) over HDMI 2.
Editing images is so much easier on a 4K monitor. If you are aiming for sRGB color space, this monitor is perfect for you. (If you want a larger color space, like Adobe RGB, that will cost you significantly more, and making use of it it will require you to know and care more about color spaces than I do). Stunning renditions. Exactly what I was hoping for.

Color accuracy at half the price
I was looking for a professional grade monitor at a slightly more affordable price and decided on this PD2700U. I have a GW2765HT from BenQ which has done me well but I needed 4K resolution. The only drawback to this monitor is low color accuracy with Adobe RGB and no stated accuracy with P3. That was almost a deal breaker but, for me, those two extras weren't worth double the price on other monitors. If you're in the market for one of those, the 2720U or 3220 are the proper choices. If you're looking for a feature rich monitor with a USB hub, too...this is a great buy.

Very easy setup and use
I purchased this to add to my multi monitor laptop setup. I have it connected to a USB-C hub that also connects to another monitor. The BenQ PD2700U is VESA mounted to my wall and it is the perfect setup for my home office environment. The monitor was very easy to setup and the colors were amazing right away without calibration. It includes a factory calibration spec sheet so you can compare your own tests to it. This monitor has many inputs so y... Show More

Clear and crisp, but strangely hard on the eyes
The monitor is extremely clear and sharp, colors look good. Adjustability is very good. However it is strangely hard on my eyes compared to my previous iMac integrated 5K display. Not sure why that is. According to the OS X system report, in sRGB profile I'm at 4K @ 60Hz with Thunderbolt-to-DisplayPort cable, which should be a good refresh rate. I've turned down the brightness quite a lot. Maybe I should try turning down the sharpness too?

Inconsistent color.
I cant honestly give this monitor more than 3 stars because the screen displays a color bias from one side of the screen to the other. It is green on one side and magenta on the other. For a monitor that is sold for photo post pro work this is unacceptable. Also in manually setting color there is no adjustment for contrast. Very strange. Other than these issues it has worked as promised.

Great Color, Great Value
Everything is great out of the box. Super sharp. Great factory Calibration. Super clear HD playback and super clear photos. All around great deal for a great monitor.

Incredible Value
Great monitors. 4k image is stunning, and the color accuracy of the sRGB mode is fantastic. The HDR mode is also amazing. I bought two of these for my dual monitor setup, and regret NOTHING. I've had these since late 2018, and no dead pixels or screen issues yet. These are not marketed as gaming monitors, but as a frequent player of Rocket League and PUBG, I've had zero issues over refresh rates.

A really functional buy at a great value
Perfect fit for my Graphic Design and Photography needs and it works great with my MacBook Pro. It comes with perfect color calibration right out of the box and even though you might need an external calibration device later on, the colors are amazing. It's extremely easy to assemble and super light. It has great features that come in handy like the automatic brightness adjustment and even though I don't particularly like the built-in speakers n... Very satisfied!
I had 3 options: BenQ PD2700U DELL U2718Q LG27UK850 Decided to proceed with BenQ. My previous monitor was LG 23 IPS and I was not very satisfied with the build quality (personal opinion). Compared all the specs and decided to order the BenQ one. I really like the picture, so many settings and modes. You can adjust height, angle and rotate the screen. Colors are great. No complains at this moment, at all. The menu is clear and simple (on my previous LG monitor it was not very straight forward).

Excellent Resolution/Features/Build But Not for General Use
The BenQ reputation for out-of-the-box accurate color reproduction and 4K resolution made this a wanna have for photo work. The excellent, solid metal stand is smoothly adjustable for height and angle and it holds those settings well. The monitor itself is virtually borderless, has an illuminated on-off button on the right bottom edge and other adjacent buttons for customizing image brightness, tint and contrast programs, among other things. Excellent monitor
Great image quality, and excellent color straight out of the box. A 4K image is 8.4 Mb, and the large display shows me images accurately enough to make enlargements for display without test printings. The image is very sharp - any focus problems are immediately apparent. I have a couple of ergonomic quibbles. There are no USB ports on the side, as many other monitors have, and a dedicated button for the KVM switch feature would be nice to have.

As good as I expected.
I am working with NEF/raw images tweaking for best appearance. While I am not a paid professional in the photography field I can tell you this monitor is far superior to my brothers (who is a professional photographer) display. The fine detail that is the standard in 4K format presents much more of the entire image on the same screen. Where photoshop would display about 20% of the entire image this new BenQ PD2700U now displays over 40%. When I w... Show More
