Not worth the money
The headphones are poorly designed, they do not cover the whole ear, they don’t specify which is left and right ear peice. The PlayStation it’s self only comes with 2 USB ports, having to now use another valuable USB port for the headphones dongle is not good. The Vss feature is good. you an buy better headphones for less money, and the wireless feature isn’t worth it, as you still have to plug the headphones in the controller for party chat.

Headset was good
I have owned the Ps4 Platinum headset which were great, loved them but needed money so sold them. Bought this headset and I am happy with my purchase. The sound is good and easy to connect to your console. They are quite comfortable but if u are deciding whether Gold or Platinum and u have the money I would recommend the Platinum headset but if u just want a good headset that isn't too expensive then I would definitely recommend the Gold.

Designed to work with the PS4 and does it well!
Designed by Sony for their PS4, this headset makes a great companion to the console. Sound quality is great and at 7.1 surround sound, you really can hear what is going on through 360° of sound. Footsteps behind you? No problem. Very easy to set up, just plug and play. My only criticism is the buttons on the headset are a tad small which makes them a little fiddly to adjust by touch during gameplay. That may just be me though.

Very disappointed
I'm a big fan of Sony stuff ... usually. These headphones are not good. They are very expensive, yet the sound quality you get from them is way below Sony's standard. I can only assume they are made by a 3rd party company. After wearing them for an hour, you will have sore ears. My ears are quite small, so heaven help you if you have large ears. I'm quite shocked that these headphones made it past prototyping, to be honest.

Love using these, wish a few things different
I love using these, and have wanted a pair like this to use for my PS4 for a while. The only issues I’ve had with these headphones was connectivity problems with my pc, but I managed a work around. Another issue I had was with the design. They give you a usb to use as the wireless connector, the headset will only connect with that usb, but they don’t give you anyway of keeping the headset and the usb together safely.

Don’t bother
Tried 2 pairs and both were as bad as each other. Sound disconnects if you’re anything mother than about 6 feet from the transmitter. There was distortion from the speakers when anything loud happened. I took the first set back after 4 days and got another hoping they were just a faulty set, the next pair I tried went back the next day as they were exactly the same. if you’re wondering about them I wouldn’t bother.

Masterpiece of sound
This headset brings a whole new dimension to the PS4 gaming experience, personally my call of duty online stats have significany increased becuase I hear footsteps incoming clearly from either the left or right side! The virtual surround sound system will dramatically enhance your gaming experience and if that isn't enough you can download preset sound setting by downloading the headset companion from the PS4 store FREE!

time for a better headset
having had several cheaper headsets for the last few years for my son, always being returned because faulty within warranty i decided to upgrade to these wireless ones. The mic is built in so not going to get damaged. Sound quality is very good you just have to remember to keep them charged. They last about eight hours which is more than enough. Excellent product but you do get what you pay for i guess!

My Headset looks fabulous
I was recommended this headset from my cousin and overall I'm pretty happy with them. It is wireless, just to clarify, as many ask this as they don't see a mic but the microphone is built into the set. It's a very comfortable set, I'm very susceptible to headaches or my ears getting too hot with headsets but this set gives me no problems. Audio quality is very nice for the pric . Very recommend.

Terrible connectivity
I bought this headset earlier this year and it has progressively gotten worse and worse. It won't stay connected if anyone else in the house is using wifi(I goes it interferes with the bluetooth signal). I've tried a bunch of solutions like changing the wifi channel and putting others on the 5ghz wifi network, nothing fixes the problem. I've seen others have this issue, I wouldn't buy this headset.

After the 1st use, I lost the sound quality.
Sadly after using this item once, I couldn't hear myself talking to fellow gamers online. Kept asking me to turn off sound tone, which I successfully did using the pdf manual of the Internet, but still had no joy resolving the issue with the headset and in the end I had to take this back to my local Argos store and exchanged the item for a PS4 Gold Wireless headset instead and this works brilliant.

Really nice touch to gaming
Really nice well built design. A full charge lasts around 2/3 days of long gaming. You could wear the headphones for long periods without discomfort. Sound it’s outstanding, really nice depth of highs and lows of bass. Allot adjustment to personalise your sound and experience. I use headphones for competitive gaming and I can uselly hear sounds other headphones will not. Highly recommend

Expensive but worth the extra £
Bought a set of generic wireless headphones for my son to game with but had problems connecting to his console and poor sound quality. We took a leap and opted for headphones designed specifically for his console and we were not disappointed. Easy to set up, fantastic sound quality and good battery life. The set also comes with a cable so he can also connect to his tablet so great all around.

Exactly what i wanted.
Order from B&H but i thought i could get them somewhere else so i cancelled. Turns out the other store didnt have them after they say i did. So i emailed B&H and they just charged me with the same funds i had altrady paid with which made everything a lot less stressful. Cheaper price than anywhere else and arrived right when they said with no S&H always my go to place for most electronics.

Not bad but not great
Sound is good but not as good as the Sony 2.0 headset that they’re replacing, Bluetooth connectivity is easy but drops as soon as you go in to a different room so you can’t hear anything, the comfort is good but they don’t fold like the Sony 2.0 or the platinum headset, overall not bad but I miss my old headset and wish I could just get a headband for that to repair the one I have

Sony ps4 gold headset
Easy to connect to ps4 working straight from the box with minimal fuss. Turning them on disconnects sound from tv so using them is just a case of flicking a switch on the headset. Battery life seems very good so far. The sound quality is quite simply amazing for the size of the units. After using normal audio headphones these are like night and day. Recommended you won't regret it.

Better replacement for previous model
The previous version of folding headphones was poor in quality. The hinges were crumbling. Now the creators have thought about this problem and are no longer being submitted. Unfortunately, it does not save space. Better quality of material on the headphones and the bedding layer. Comfortable, 5.1 sound is amazing. Unfortunately too short charging cable. Worth recommending.

Great headset sound is so clear the build is good
The Surroundsound is unbelievably good the first person shooter games you can clearly tell which direction the shots come from. The build quality is much better than previous versions of the headset the only negative thing I’ve found is it is a squeeze on the ears but this may be as it’s new I need to wearing I would imagine fantastic headset would recommend to all

Superior to the old gold 2.0 headset
Better sound , better design , better build quality. Far superior to the old 2.0 gold headset and what feels like easily half the weight. Companion app is more advanced. Extremely comfortable over long periods of use. Long battery life , although you must not leave it on charge overnight as this can cause the battery to fry. Other than that, Highly recommended.

Great Upgrade to the Stero Headset.
Great headset, got these as an upgrade to my old PlayStation stero headset which I've had since launch. The platinums have better speakers and feel a lot lighter to wear. The sound is amazing, you get the virtual surround sound and also 3D surround sound which is amazing with compatible games. Definitely worth paying the extra for the better sound and build quality.

It's amazing!!
I've used this product before and it never fails to amaze. I am a heavy gamer myself and using a headset it good quality is vital. I cannot complain about this product, not only does it look good. But it feels good, it's comfy when used and the sound quality is brilliant. I would recommend this to any friend that might be looking to invest in a good gaming headset!

PS4 Headphones does the job!
My son was lucky to get these at a reduced price after taking back another pair of different more expensive headphones which didn’t work properly from the start! My son was over the moon that they were reduced and they are much better quality than his previous expensive light up set! Ok they don’t light up but they work well clear sound and are comfortable.

Big improvement over 1st gen PS4
Bought this to replace a 1st gen PS4 that sounded like an idling jumbo jet! These are way quieter (near silent actual) and my kids tell me run smoother and download faster. As a parent all that matters to me is that they are silent! Marked down on connectivity cause I reckon they could still make it easier to connect usb devices but that's a minor niggle.
