Yongnuo YN 50mm f/1.4N E Lens for Nikon F

MPN's:
Sharp, not expensive, built like a tank
Exceptionally pleased with the tack sharp focus and sturdy build. Motor is loud that is ok, now Im researching the test of time because Ive had it less than a month. Very happy from a guy who before only bought brand name lens. The price made it worth the gamble for a 1.4 so far blown away by the quality.

It's reasonable for the price.
It takes quite good images at the f1.8 setting, but the f1.4 images are not sharp using any combination of speed and ISO. The Nikkor f1.4 is a lot more expensive, but worth the difference in price if you intend to shoot at f1.4.

The reviews here are right
Am new to the Nikon family and wanted an affordable AND quality prime. The reviews here convinced me to buy one. A B&H rep liked it as well. The lens turned out to be worth than the money we paid. Is it ever sharp. Love this lens.

This is a good lens
Didn't have any expectations before I got this lens, it turns out that I like it a lot. The lens has a solid feel and certainly does not look like a cheap lens that cost less than $200. If you goal is to capture that moment and make good photogragh, this lens is more than enough. If I can't make good picture out from this, I blame myself not this lens..

Great lens, Great price
I really wanted a 50mm 1.4 but couldn't justify it since I had a 1.8. But my daughter's sweet 16 was coming up and my 1.8 was having issues so saw this lens and figured I'd give it a shot. I really wanted a full frame lens even though I'm using a DX camera because I am going to switch over soon so couldn't beat the price and got good reviews. When I saw the pics, wow. What a great lens and I'd say especially for the price but it holds up really well against the big shots. I let 2 friends use it and they too were impressed and are going to get it as well. Certainly worth the money.

Superb
It's no the definitive lens. But considering price/quality it makes a huge value for the money. By now, construction quality seems very good, but you shold remind it's not sealed. Sharp enougth and superb depth of field. Autofocus is a little bit slow.

Well worth it
Has a slight amount of chromatic aberration. However it it sharper than my other and much more expansive brand 24-105 . Very pleased with my purchase

Image ok; but heavy and not compatible with Z6/Z7
The image quality is good. This is quite a big/heavy lens. The motor is noisy. But the auto-focus works reasonably fast. However, the auto-focus is not compatible with the latest Z6/Z7. Not sure if it can be updated to a newer firmware...

Surprised Surprise Surprise
Youd think for the price this would have some flaws. At f.1/4 its pretty sharp at f.2 its razor sharp. I did not look at the outer edges of the frames as Im concerned with my subject. Good buy for the price.

Fantastic inexpensive lens!
I told myself I would never by another lens for I have many to go with my Nikon 810, the 135mm 2.0, 85mm 1.8, 35mm 1.8, 20-70mm 2.8 an the 70-300m 2.8. when I saw this 50mm 1.4 for only $169, I said why not. I wasnt expecting much from it. Guys this lens is definitely one of the best lenses ever!!! The auto focus is fast and the picture is beautiful not soft at 1.4! bokah is great also. Lens is well built metal not plastic!
