Great little tripod
This is sturdy and strong. So far I've only used it for my large phone but it looks good enough for any digital camera I might shoot with.

Very solid little tripod
I've had this for a year now and have had to pull it out more than a few times to stick a D810 with grip and with a variety of heavy glass. Surprisingly the little thing held its ground and could support 6-7lbs in emergencies. Obviously not rock solid with that much gear, but it worked and gave me stable shots. The thumb screw is a little miniscule, and the ball head not very smooth, thus the 4 star. The legs are very well built. and don't worry about slightly overloading when you need that shot.

Very Handy
This is a wonderful gadget to have. I lost my old one and replaced ASAP. Every video and photographer needs this.

Very strong, rigid and stable for its size
Very strong, rigid and stable for its size the tradeoff being almost zero elevation and limited range of motion. About the most fiddle-free tripod to erect as long as you have a reasonably flat tabletop-like surface. Instantly folds about as flat as any ballhead could be expected to fold. I suspect it can support considerably more than 2kg as long as the load is balanced.

Nice so far!
I bought this to attach to the bottom of a selfie stick that doesn't come with a tripod stand. My husband and I used it to take a group shot over the holidays of us and our friends. It works well so far - Is solidly constructed with all metal parts and has a revolving ball bearing top upon which you can screw on your camera and move into whatever angle you want. The feet appear in the photo to be very thin but if you see them in person, you can see they're made of solid metal so they have enough weight to keep an extended selfie stick upright without keeling over.

Small, Sturdy and Well Built
These are great for posing smaller cameras or for keeping a PIX, Atomos recorder, or small monitor mounted on a desktop.

Small and Sturdy
These mini tabletop tripods from Manfrotto are perfect with lighter weight cameras. These 709 Digi tripods are also great for external recorders like the PIX, Odyssey, Atomos when using them on a table.

Great for Micro 4/3 Mirrorless Cameras
I bought this tabletop tripod for use with my micro 4/3 mirrorless camera as an alternative to carrying a full size tripod when I don't want to carry a lot of weight. For that purpose, it has been very useful. Due to it's light weight and small size, I can carry it at all times with little effort in a jacket pocket or in the bottom of my camera bag. It has it's limitations; however, and I would not recommend it as a replacement for a full size tr... Show More

great travel tripod
Wonderful tripod, didn't skip a beat loaded with my D800 and Zeiss 135/2.0 lens for exposures over 5 seconds. But the little cork feet fall off before your first use, so get over it and don't use it on furniture that it might scratch, because those metal legs WILL scratch wood and the like. Also, vertical shots are nearly impossible, but I managed a few. Just makes it very side heavy. But other than those few nits, it's very light and sturdy, and holds more than I could possibly imagine.

Most Used Accessory in My Kit!
It's not the cheapest mini tripod out there but being a Manfrotto, the quality is very good. I use this tripod ALL of the time with everything from my Sony Action Cam, my GoPro to my Canon 60D with 18-200mm lens. The little rubber feet fell off one by one over time but it doesn't affect the performance at all unless I wanted to prevent scratches when I placed it on delicate surfaces like my car. I suppose I could glue on some cork replacements bu... Show More

Not for DSLR's
This tripod has stability issues when a DSLR is mounted along with an external flash. The ball head is very unstable.

Handy Gadget
I've had this for only a short time but it's been pretty handy. It's so small that it fits in my bag and I hardly know it's there. When I need a quick way to stabilize my M43, Canon S95, or iPhone using a Glif this little tripod is right there. Because it's lightweight, easy to use, and surprisingly stable, I carry it in my bag everywhere. It's perfect for the nimble photographer who travels with minimal kit, and who among us want's to carry more... Show More

Solid yet compact
This all metal desktop tripod is very stable. For example, it supports a Sony A6000 with a 55-210 lens fully extended. Once folded, it fits in any camera bag side pocket or, in a pinch, in my jean's back pocket. While it can be used partially folded, there are not positive stops, so the weight of the camera will tend to push it open.

Great for a table top spotting scope!!!
I purchased this to use with a almost 6 lbs Bushnell spotting scope and couldn't be any happier!!! It work perfectly even though it is only rated to support 4.5lbs. I would buy this again if I lost this!!!! Can't beat the price!!!!

Manfrotto tabletop
I. Use my 60d and 24-105 or 70-200 f4 without any problems on this nifty little tripod. Goes everywhere with me as it is very light but provides a very stable base when required.

Second time around!
I bought one of these sometime in the 1990s. I loved it. I lost it. I bought this one. It's perfect for both point and shoot cameras and it also works great for my DSLR w/ a 17-55mm f2.8 (heavy) lens. It stands up to whatever you give it. Great for trips where a larger tripod would be inappropriate.

After 3 years I love this tripod
I bought this when it first came out years ago and I overpaid for it--some amount over a hundred bucks along with a little pouch and a short riser for optional use between the mini ballhead and the legs. I remember a seasoned photographer telling me never to skimp on lenses or tripods.I've been using this for years and I keep it in the bag and use it almost daily. I have a Canon 7D, a couple of Fuji cameras, a few Leica cameras, lots of use and l... Show More

Great for Barebones Camera
This a sturdy, stable product. As long as you don't pack a bunch on your DSLR you'll get good use out of it. Save the rig for your other camera body during interviews like I do.

Excellent little tripod
I bought this to use with my Nikon D5000 and either an 18-130mm or a 70-210mm lens. I wanted something small enough to fold up and fit into my camera bag (a small shoulder bag) but sturdy and stable as well. The tripod is perfect, just fitting in the bag, but providing a stable and easy to adjust platform for my camera. And all at an excellent price! Brian.

Sturdy and well-made
A great little tripod. Holds the 5dii and 24-105 easily, rock solid, ballhead cranks down and holds it in place pretty well. Fits in my tiny bag still, and works much better than the ultrapod it replaced (that ballhead couldn't hold the camera without slipping). Only con is that it isn't high enough to accommodate the camera oriented to portrait. You can do it, but you'll have to close the legs a bit and have it hover there. Not terrifically stable in that orientation.

Very solid!
The tripod sits very steady. However, once the legs are out, there is no other adjustments to be made.
