Finally settle for this quick release
I've tried many different types of quick release plates in the past and by far this is the best one for dslr's. Ive made this quick release my main camera accessory as far as securing my camera to a tripod, monopod, video rig and many more.

Excellent product
Installed the whole unit on my recent monopod that I purchased, works great. My tripod has a manfrotto ball head with the 410PL plate, I can now easily switch between monopod and tripod without replace the the adaptor attached to my camera.

Durable but has problems
This quick release plate is anything but quick to release! I use it on my Glidecam 2000, and always have a hard time getting the lever to budge whenever I need to change my camera's battery. Very frustrating and will not recommend it.

Great and versatile
Use several of these with my Canon 5D mark III, both for stills and as a liteweight baseplate system for video. Interfaces with system that came with my Zacuto handheld rig, gets a solid grip even with the one lockdown on the Mark III

Solid and easy to use
I wanted a different quick release system for my video DSLR gear. Had been using the 501 system - but found it a bit too bulky for my needs. I especially like how low profile these are. Very sturdy and has a nice click into place.

Very useful
Easy to use and well constructed. Not sure why it took me so long to purchase this. It helps to have two of these. One (base) mounts on the my glidecam4000 and the other on my fluid head tripod. releases and attaches in seconds.

I have been using these low profile adapters and plates for quite a few years now, and I have never found any that I liked better. Except in cases where I need to balance lenses with long Arca type plates, this is my mainstay.

Quick releasing my buns off
I mount this to my camera, tripod, shoulder rig and slider. I quick release between all of them easily. It's lightweight and durable. Makes running and gunning with expensive gear a little more tolerable. Highly recommend.

Awesome and versatile
I used this on top of a Manfrotto video head with a sliding tripod plate. The existing plate was really tough to remove and this low-profile plate fits right on top and easily pops off and on. It's great. Highly recommend.

My Favorite Quick Release
I shoot fusion (Pictures and Video) and I have a lot of different setups for stabilization. I bought one of these for each stabilizer and can quickly go from one rig to another. It's strong, well built, and does the job!

Quick Release Adapter
Using with the glidecam 2000 Pro and a Canon 7D. The quick release adapter feels very strong, I'm not worried at all about it releasing unexpectedly. Feels and looks like it is built very well, had some heft to it.

Too Sturdy
I'm returning this immediately: the quick release is far too difficult to operate with a single hand. This leaves my camera unsteady whenever I'm using the quick release lever...not cool.

I use this on the cheese plate for my Glidecam hd 4000. I have a manfrotto monopod that uses the same plate, so switching is such a breeze. Its low-profile is definitely worth buying.

Solid adapter ergonomically challenged
Used this for video for some time but I don't like the way the plate sticks out from the camera. Also not suitable for other purposes. I have moved to Arca Swiss compatible adapters.

My second one
I bought the 394 for my Cam staberlize, it has the 2 leveling bubbles on it and the price is right. solid,works well. I just picked another one for spider track dolly,and works well.
