Bit disappointed
only two HDMI ports , no scart socket so couldn’t plug in my sky box and had to buy a new freesat box.Sound is ok when it’s loud but when you want it on low , it’s too low to hear talking but when you try to it up the music is too loud , again not as good as the last tv . Apps on it are basic, no Apple TV ( it’s not an android tv) Was also disappointed not to get a voucher for this , used to get 5 pound for spending fifty 10 for 100 etc . If I could take the tv back I would , rubbish.

Nice picture but poor sound and connectivity
This is a nice sized tv, decent picture, at a price that won’t break the bank. The downsides (1) sound quality. TV manufacturers these days want us to buy their sound bars. But it would be great to find a tv that has more than the tinny effort on display here. Not enough for a larger room. (2) No stereo phono connections - you can’t just plug this into your stereo amp to boost the sound (though, if you buy a cheap adapter, you could use the output from the headphone outlet).

Sony tv
Previous tv decided to stop working just before Christmas so I needed one I could pick up next day. Argos saved the day I ordered that night picked up following morning and had it working for the lunchtime news Excellent service from Argos Sony tv great size no fancy bits you look at the tv and just see all picture not a big box in the corner and what an amazing picture it is the sound is great and so simple to set up just plug in and it sorts itself out Great value for money

A decent television
A decent television that has a wonderful picture quality. The sound is good but intermittent depending on the programme you are watching. It was surprisingly light and easy to carry, It connected easily and whilst not idiot proof, everyone should be able o use it without difficulty. The only reason I would not recommend this to anyone is because it is outmoded and tech has surpassed its ability. That said I am very happy with it as it does everything I personally need.

Great purchase
Our previous Smart TV, a Bush model, bought hurriedly upon relocating back to the U.K. from overseas, broke within the warranty period and so Argos offered a replacement. We purchased the Sony Bravia as a slight upgrade. Glad that we did - much clearer picture and better sound. Very easy to set up (took literally minutes) and connect to WiFi. Has more Apps than the Bush model. Great tv and great customer service from Sue at the Lewisham store. Happy customer :)

New Sony TV
After recent disappointment with one of the newer Philips models it was pleasing to find this Sony fulfilled most of my hopes and expectations.Nice design/ very good picture quality( slight adjustments needed in settings to get colour balance better)/sound average but could be improved by use of a sound bar/ reasonable selection of basic apps. Chose this Smart Full HD model as I did not want or need 4K at this present moment. Overall,recommended.

Old TV replacement with new TV
As my old TV's die I replace them with SONY Bravia televisions, excellent picture quality and fantastic sound. This is now my third SONY Bravia TV being used within a busy household with teenagers. Good for streaming, playing computer games and watching normal TV. Very easy setup and light weight. Price is a little more than some of the other TV's but worth it, just wait for a sale (I did) to save ££££'s. You shouldn't be disappointed.

Great value tv
Great value tv if you mainly watch freeview, dead easy to set up. After adjusting the overly lurid factory settings for the picture, standard definition stuff looks good, HD stuff looks great. Big surprise for me was the sound is perfectly acceptable for normal tv viewing. Bought this instead of a 4K tv as standard definition channels looked quite a lot better. At this price it’s a pretty good bargain

Worst tv I have ever had
Picture keeps resetting itself after set up! Sound 'has' to be reset as we need to gradually increase the volume day by day to hear it! Can't switch between hdmi sources, if watching sky on hdmi 1, switch to hdmi 2 for dvd and its sky thats on! Need to pull out hdmi cables. Son accidentally cracked extremely lightweight frame 1 week after purchase so argos refused to deal with all the other faults!

Super buy
previously had a 39inch HD ready TV. Picture quality on this sony is Superb when on HD channels. and absolutely fine on SD ( including old DVD's..). Sound is also miles better than my previous TV, but I have in any case linked IT up to my HIFI system. As a word of caution, Care needs to be taken when unpacking the TV as the edges are very thin and the screen could be a bit fragile ...... !

Quality product
I had a Sony TV before for more than 9 years in fact it still works But I wanted a smart TV and this Ticks every box I like the Make of it always a quality product The picture quality is excellent and its so easy to get into you tube and Netflix and all the other Apps .Delivery was fast and the Television arrived well packed .I would Buy Sony again and also use Argos again.

Great price
Our previous very old Sony bravia was still in perfect working order but thought it time to move to a smart TV. Went with Bravia again and everything great. Easy to set up and great picture. Volume does need to be turned up very high when watching sky and down for everything else but not sure why that it. Dont think any need for a sound bar. Great price, would recommend

Hasn't Crushed Me Yet
After an incident wherein my last flat screen decided to fall on me and leave me covered in bruises and then only display half a screen, I decided it was time for a new one. I am disabled and quite weak, but I was easily able to put affix the stand to the tv, the setup process was very simple. Picture and sound quality are superb, especially for gaming.

brilliant TV for the price
would highly recommend this tv for the price. always bought a Samsung tv before. Decided to try a Sony bravia this time to replace our old tv. what a difference it has made. The picture is amazing. Sound quality not as good but have now got used to it. Would highly recommend this tv to anyone needing a new tv. love it hodhie

My Sony Bravia 43inch tv is AMAZING
Bought this to as hubby accidentally broke last one oooops so pleased with it picture quality and sound is second to none with loads of amazing features plus internet connection for YouTube Netflix etc. would definitely recommend to anyone.Also very reasonable price much much cheaper then same model from Currys PC World.

Picture better than expected
Bought this as a second TV for a bedroom. Picture quality very good (the only reason picture quality didn't get 5* is because its not 4K). Very thin and streamlined, looks really smart and minimal. For a non 4K TV you can't go wrong. Built in Netflix and Youtube buttons on remote are handy short cuts also.

Good value for money
Really pleased with our new purchase, very easy set up and does exactly what we need it to. I was concerned about having a time delay when you initially switch the tv on, as a previous Sony tv takes 30 seconds to warm up before you can change channels etc, but this works instantly.

False advertising
If you're looking for proper HDR, don't buy this one. If you're looking for Sonys fluid motion you'll be disappointed because it doesn't support this feature despite it is mentioned in the specification. Google this model on Sony Community forum. So many disappointed customers.

Very happy with the picture but no SCART connector
I bought this to replace a slightly smaller TV. Picture is clear and crisp with better colour balance than we had before. Installation was easy (though required screwdriver). No SCART connector, but so far that has not been a problem. Will need some new cables eventually.

Much better than the old Samsung!
Got this to replace a similar spec Samsung. There is no sound glitch. There is no dirty screen effect. Numerous other small niggles no longer niggle me! But difficult to connect to wifi but 4th time lucky. Should have got one of these months ago.

Worth the extra money
There are lower priced, higher spec TVs available but you can’t fault the Sony. I’d rather have a top quality 1080p like this than a poor 4K screen. well built and easy to use. Great picture and as good a sound you can expect from such a slim unit.

Great picture, great size
This was easy to set up, the picture is great and the only flaw is the sound quality- sound bar is definitely required. We got a good deal on the sound bar with the TV so overall I would recommend. Also good service at Sainsbury’s click and collect.

Geat tv with a great price
A very good tv with a good price. Setting up was straight forward. The only issue with Sony tv's is that there is not enough hdmi sockets at the rear.With todays technology,more than 2 is needed. Other than that,Sony do make great tv's.

Good Quality but not sure this is LCD or LED
I bought the item considering as an LED Screen as mentioned in online description but it appears as LCD. No where in the prdouct manual or other information it is stated as LED except at one page it is written as LCD, confusing.
