Good Noise Cancellation But Too Many Little Issues
The Good: ~The noise cancellation does a good job of quieting noises in an office environment (and everywhere else I've tested it). ~The battery life is good and the recharge time is short. ~The build quality and appearance seem excellent. ~It's capability of producing sound details seems a little ahead of my Panasonic RP-HTX7 headphones. Bonus Good: ~The user experience stays strong if you are chewing while wearing the headphones; the comfort h... Show More

Great sound, ear cups too small
Sound I compared these to several other wireless headphones in the $150 to $200 range including the Sony Wireless, Beats Studio Wireless, and JVC wireless. For my taste, these headphones had the best sound hands down. I listen to everything from rock to hip hop to classical sometimes. I found the Sony and Beats headphones have way too much bass and not enough mid/treble. The JVCs were close; but, two out of three pairs were broken on the store di... Show More

As good as I anticipated.
I was looking for a quality active noise canceling headphones as I am attending online lectures, watching video lectures. I am also an audiophile and want great sound quality headphones. I had made extended researches about the active noise canceling headphones including Bose, Sony, Audio-Technica, Sennheiser and other Chinese brands. I was also thinking about the price range, as I didn't want to invest too much as well as I didn't want a cheap a... Show More

GOOD SOUND BUT SMALL EAR PADS
THE SENNHEISER HD 4.40 BT ARE GOOD HEADPHONES FOR THE PRICE POINT.THE HIGH,MIDS AND LOWS ARE PRISTINE WITH NO DISTORTION.THE VOLUME COULD BE BETTER BUT ITS ACCEPTABLE WHEN MAKING AND RECEIVING PHONE CALLS THE SOUND QUALITY WAS POOR. PEOPLE ON THE OTHER END SAID I SOUNDED FAR AWAY. I COULD LIVE WITHOUT THE PHONE PROPERTIES ANYWAY BECAUSE I MAINLY WANTED THEM TO LISTEN TO MUSIC. AND THE FREEDOM OF BLUETOOTH CONNECTIVITY. Wrong Fit - Hurts Ears and Top of Head
I was looking for an alternative to my Beats Studio Wireless that were a little lighter. Had high hopes. These are lighter, but the fit is all wrong for me. As others have stated, although they are considered over-the-ear, the ear openings are a little smaller, but just enough that they push on parts of my ears in bothersome way after about 30 minutes. The headband is wider, not as tightly sprung as my Beats, and has the mid height pivots for the... Show More

Great, but I'd spend a little more
Overall they are awesome for the buck. They sound pretty good and are quite well designed, but I think I'm gonna go for something better, probably the Bose 35. I use my headphones a lot and I'm not satisfied when it comes to sound quality specially when I'm in the subway. They lack volume and not having ANC is a problem. Also I'm a tall guy with a big head (yet sexy AF) and my head hurts after a while because of the excessive tension they produce... Show More

much better than expected - very good Bluetooth performance
I bought two of these to take on a cruise to Mexico. I ran one set off my iPhone 8+ and let my best friend use the other off my iPad 6gen - both running Tidal downloads (CD quality). I had low expectations but the Sennheisers worked great - good sound quality, reasonably good isolation and very comfortable outside on the deck or in the air conditioned cabin. My friend was very impressed and will be using them at home with a number of different products. I have much better wired headphones at home so for me these will be used solely on trips but for the money Im truly impressed.

Amazing. HUGE value for money.
Sound is impressive. Best headphones I ever had. Read lots of reviews, watched various videos on YouTube - the only difference between this and HD 4.50 is the noise cancellation feature in the 4.50. Cups in the HD 4.40 are snug so block most outside noise. If playing music you can’t hear a thing. HD 4.40 has virtually no sound leak, perfect for the daily commute. HUGE value for money, extremely happy with it. Treat yourself and buy it. Bought another pair for my nephew, he is as amazed as I am.

brilliant sound and punchy bass.
Sound fantastic and they are not even run in yet. The bass is excellent and punchy without overpowering the rest of the sound. They go plenty loud enough and they keep the sound out well even on lower volumes. Bluetooth connects very quickly, it can also connect to two devices at same time so you can receive calls if you are listening on your tablet but connected to your phone.. Build quality is top notch. Brilliant battery life. These are over the ear but they are very snug. Highly recommended

Best headphones I have ever had !!!!
The headphones come with great instructions and I was able to set these up without having too much technical knowledge, I connected them with ease to my iPhone and was listening to them within minutes. They charged quicker than I expected and when the charge was complete the headphones speak to you to let you know which I thought was handy. They sound great and my little boy has had great fun with these dancing around without being restricted by any cords!!! A great product, highly recommended!!

Wireless wonders
These headphones were very impressive and very easy to use! As a not too savy technical person I found the instructions easy to follow, wireless set up/ connectivity was straightforward/hassle free every time headphones were used! In particular I was impressed with the exceptionally good sound clarity, compact storage, ease of use and quick charging time. My teenage sons absolutely loved the headphones as did I. Overall, fantastic headphones! definitely worth buying so highly recommending.

Top quality!
I spent about a week doing loads of research on all sorts of over ear headphones and for the money you won't beat these. Not if you want actual quality from a company that cares about their products and customers and not a marketing gimmick! Not mentioning any names... Lol but sennheiser are probably the top headphone company in the world. At least top 3. I'd highly recommend these to anyone. I use them mainly indoors, but also in the gym. They're so comfy. With a great soundstage. Just buy em.

Good but not Perfect one for me
I had done a lot of reading before buying it. And finally thought to go for it but it didn't turned out to my expectations. I wont say it is bad... Its good but when I compared it to skullcandy hesh 3 which my roommate already had... This one was not as good in the sound quality and the most important Comfort. It just wasn't the right fit for my ears. Just after few minutes of using it my ears were paining. It is a on ear headphone rather than a over ear headphone. Its Bass is not good enough.

Style,comfort and excellent sound
The sheer size of the ear pads make it almost noise cancelling whilst providing a truly neutral and incredibly well rounded experience however if you do adjust the equaliser you can get some impressive bass and phenomenal vocals which is rare in most headphones to get that diverse range. They're comftable and stylish with a remarkable battery length which in my usage has far supassed the stated 12 hours more like 18ish; finally the delivery time was quick; Overall pleasure on Argos behalf.

Stylish
The only thing I was a little disappointed in was the noise reduction. Didn't really seem to make a lot of difference but after looking into it unless you pay about £400 + you don't get great noise reduction and even then not complete. But when the music is playing the way they cup your ears give good sound proofing. Make sure you download the pdf as the instructions are very basic. Overall very happy with these. Just don't expect to block the world out and you won't be disappointed

Good purchase
I bought these having had 2 pairs of Beat headphones that I was less than impressed with. These Sennheiser headphones are far more solid and comfortable and will, hopefully, last a great deal longer. I haven't yet tested the sound quality of music as I use them more often when watching programmes my partner isn't interested in, and for travel. I researched the choice before purchase and a number of buyers really rated them on sound so I'm hopeful of a good experience when I use them more.

Best i've used.
Excellent sound quality, the best I've used. Comfortable around the ear, however A little chunky when wearing around the neck when not listening to them and the NFC connection is hit and miss when you're wearing them. Have to take them off to get the devices to connect, as you look silly when putting the back of the phone to the ear piece when walking around. The base could be a little deeper but the sound is crisp and vibrant. Better than any Beats and matches Bose for quality and price.

Forget Bosse
These are fantastic headphones, probably the best I've ever had , and at 50 yrs old I've had a few. The noise dampening is excellent, the sound quality is fantastic and they are genuinely comfortable when worn for a long time. My only problem with these headphones has been connecting them to multiple devices. They where initially paired to my phone and now they don't seem to want to pair with any other device and I've tried with my laptop, PS4 and even with my Samsung soundbar for my TV.

Excellent make...
Pleased with the product but realised we had purchased the wrong type of headphone and had to return them. Perhaps everyone else is more tech savvy, but we didn't know different purposes require specific models. This one is apparently for "on the go" sound - walking, listening to say an iPod. Our requirement was for TV which is the RS165 model. It would be helpful if the manufacturers stated this on the box! But otherwise the make is apparently highly recommended by those "in the know".

Bang average
The sound quality of these headphones is very average. The noise cancelling just takes a little of any low-pitched background noise away. What’s mor frustrating is the comfort - they’re so narrow that they squeeze your earlobes so after an hour, they’re to uncomfortable to wear. That, and the seriously frumpy voice-over announcements that keep cropping up which just make me cringe. After 1 year the volume control has knackered so I can only use volume on the phone.

Very pleased with the HD 4.5BT
Great pair of wireless Sennheisers, sound quality is great, room for improvement. However for value and all-round quality, HD 4.5BT are ticking all the boxes, I personally couldn't tell the difference between the Sennheisers PXC 550 which are considerably more in price than the HD 4.5BT, if you have a large head, like myself, the PXC 550 are a five for comfort. The 4.5BT aren't as comfortable, however save your money and get the HD 4.5BT solid headphone, as good as the PCX 550.

Build quality lacking
Big fan of Sennheiser headphones, the sounds on these headphones is consistent with their other products. However, the plastic feels a little tacky, and after a week of having them, the headband extender broke and the right earphone stopped working. I've swapped them, and had no issues on the new pair. Bluetooth is easy to pair, and sound levels go a lot louder than the sennheiser momentums, although your ears are gonna get sweaty if you wear them for more than an hour.

My second pair of Sennheiser wireless headphones
I live in a flat and at night have to wear headphones to prevent annoying my neighbours. I use these headphones with a very sophisticated Cyrus hi-fi system of which I have two - one in the lounge and one in the bedroom. Sennheiser are in my opinion ideal for this type of use being excellent quality and producing great sound. I have the conventional wireless models in the bedroom and the Bluetooth ones in the lounge. Argos provided these quickly at a competitive price.
