Doesn't Support 8lbs

Jun 20, 2019

Nice tripod but my RB67 (6lbs) is too much weight for the head to support, the horizontal/vertical tilt plate is almost impossible to lock down tight enough to prevent it from shifting. Otherwise it's ok for light duty.

Great tripod

I have a Sony a6300 and it easily holds the camera and my 18-200 lens. Very sturdy and light. Great for traveling. Pan/Tilt Head are very fluid and easy to use.

Excellent product

Aug 12, 2016

I needed a good and inexpensive tripod for a video shoot. I was easily able to pick out this product with the help of a really nice young lady sales person. The purchase was quick and easy and I took the tripod to the shoot. I set it up easily and once I adjusted the tightness of the handle, I was ready to go. Everything went beautifully and I am very satisfied with this product.

fancy but flimsy

For someone who barely uses their tripod. It is light weigh but would not be able to stand up to daily usage.

Better than expected

Apr 24, 2016

I already had a tripod to use with my camera and was looking for one that was very inexpensive to use for a water drop photography kit or to hold a flash if the situation called for it. I was quite impressed of the quality of product considering the cost of it. It exceeded my expectations. It says it is made to hold up to 8 lbs but I would be hesitant to use with my camera. That said, it is perfect for my intended uses.

cheap and easy to use

I bought this tripod as stand for my small digital still camera. I like the removable camera plate so It is very easy to move the camera without having to move the tripod. Also allows for quick and easy set-up. I recomend this tripod to all who need something that is light weight and easy to move around.

Cheap plastic breaks easily

Apr 5, 2016

I ordered a different model but it was out of stock so B & H recommended I order these as a comparable. I ordered a dozen because of the great price for my photography class. Right out of the box a couple were broken or missing parts. Not long after we received them, the students had plastic parts breaking in their hands. Thought they are cheap, I'd rather spend more money on less tripods so they'd actually work for more than a week. I ordered ex... Show More

Flimsy

Apr 5, 2016

Thought this tripod was good when i looked at and i guess i calculated wrong. I was expecting this tripod to hold my Nikon D7100 and 55-300mm lens. Well it did but it was just very nerve racking and its just to flimsy. And when it says aluminum i thought all of it would be not just the legs. The head, feet, leg locks, pretty much everything else was plastic and the aluminum just bends under the weight of my camera

For $ its all right. I use Fuji xe-1 and do the job. But my little son drop it and the tripod head break it.

Do not buy this tripod for any imaging device

This is not an aluminum tripod. Although light and compact. It is extremely flimsy and only appropriate for holding a small light or flash. the pan head is useless and shaky, almost impossible to frame accurately and securely.

This product can provide all you need while cost you the lest. It is light weight, too, although cannot be folded shorter. Why pay more? It can last long if you handle carefully.

Inexpensive tripod, great for the price

It's not super sturdy but it's a great tripod to carry around town when shooting photos, esepecially for the price. Happy with it so far.

I use this item for my indoor and outdoor photography. It's Nice and easy to use. Light weight. Limited life time warranty. You have to consider the materials what you are paying for. Top Plastic is not very high quality plastic but its ok with me.

Falls apart and breaks easilly

Apr 5, 2015

While I had one of these for a few months and it worked well for something so cheap, I found out why. One day I took it out to do some still shots at my studio and whe I pulled out the legs and tried to lock the levers they all broke, one by one. As if after a few months the plastic literally disintegrates.

Low cost high usage

The tripod is not the top of the line, that' for sure. But do you need top of the line tripod when you travel? Do you need it when you have to climb to the top to take that one shot and only one shot? How about dirty basement? No. This one is for common everyday day - no fireworks.

Good for basic photography

Nov 3, 2014

I only needed a tripod to for a sony DSC not a pro but hevier than most point and shoot cameras. Light and portable and extends high enough for my pictures, and take video with a canon Snapshot.. For the casual prhotographer this will de job, feels cheap and don't expect it to last if at least little care is not put when used.

Great little tripod for a very small price. I bought is to do long exposure photos while hiking and camping. It's cheap and does it's job alright. Not very sturdy, but lightweight (which is nice if you have to carry it on your back for three days).
