It's a nice little lens that is reasonably sharp. It works great with the Fuji cameras because it's easy to set the focus to get pretty well everything in focus.

I like going wide and this lens will do just that. Yes, there is fisheye distortion, but if used judiciously it is lots of fun.

Nice fisheye lens
Its a really nice fisheye lens. Its lightweight but only has manual focusing. You have to set an option to make it compatible on the Fujifilm X series.

Samyang 8mm lens
Having only shot with this lens once for an assignment, it's early to tell about its long term life, but the build is solid, the images were nice, even shooting in a low light situation. Focus ring smooth and tampered well in that it wasn't on the fly. Not an overly heavy lens or big. A nice addition to the few fuji lenses I have.

Landscape lens for beginners
The sharpness is not bad for the price. It's a funny lense for wedding and pretty cool for some landscape. It's a lightweight and compact lens to have.

Remember to Keep Your Feet Out of the Shot
Not a lens that I use often, but it delivers the goods. Very sharp lens (or is it the enormous depth of field?) comparable to my OEM Fujinon lenses. Who needs AF when DOF is from here to eternity? For the most part, I set this lens to f/8 and focus at about 3ft which pretty much eliminates and focusing issues.

Niche Focal Length
Though manual, this lens continues to impress me in situations where I need to go as wide as possible. I have the Fujinon XF10-24 f/4, and yet this Samyang fisheye is a go-to lens for those special occasions where you need to get all of the scene into the frame. Sharp, tiny and well built. Highly recommended!

Excellent and funny lens
Very interesting lens, easy to use. It allows to get a unique perspective on subjects. When used horizontally on landscapes, it is like a ultra-wide angle lens. Different styles are possible to get with it. Very sharp lens. Very good feeling in hand.

Very sharp - bad flare
This is my third Samyang/Rokinon fisheye lens. I've owned this lens for Pentax mount, m4/3, and now Fuji X. This one is *very* sharp in my opinion, at least stopped down as I haven't yet needed to use it closer to wide open, and into the corners. However, it is let down by a very poor flare resistance. The New and Improved Samyang 8mm
I got this to round out the lenses I needed to go with my new Fuji X-T1 system. I already had the Canon 15mm fisheye, but like many others, have decided to move from my Canon 5D MK3 system and my Nikon D800 system, in favor of the smaller Fuji X series.
