Closed back version of DT990pro
I am a very happy owner of Beyerdynamic DT990pro 250ohm headphones, I love their sound, comfort, look.. But being open back headphones, they are not suitable for an office use. Closed back headphones are a must for noisy office environment. In the past I tried DT770, but I didn't like their overemphasized bass, a bit muffled sound and how congested they sounded (especially compared to DT990). Great Headphones
These are the best closed cans in this price range. I was particularly looking for a model that has detachable cable, and preferably has velour ear pads. If you like leather, even better - you get more even more isolation. The build is awesome as well. pros: sound; comfort; build; detachable cable; velour pads cons: not much of a con but: bass slider has some use but it's more of a gimmick.

Good headphones
Bought this cause I need a pair of closed headphones for voice-over work, they are clean and fairly neutral with a good fit. The variable bass ports are a nice feature but once set you probably won't touch them. I drive them thru a Presonus Quantum 2 and also a Presonus HP4 amp. Both which easily drives these with gain to spare (especially Presonus HP 4)

Very Versatile Headphone
This set of headphones fulfils many different needs, and I really like them. I bought these for home recording and monitoring, and especially needed a headset with a detachable cable.
