I love drawing with this stylus!
Feels great when drawing, much like a pen or pencil. Other styluses are fine, but most are bigger and bulkier. It doesn't have any buttons on the side like a lot of styluses do, but I actually like that better. My fingers would always accidentally press those buttons when drawing, and become more of a nuisance. The tip of the pencil has some give to it, but harder than some. I like it. Love it!

I might not buy this item again
It charges fast, is very responsive. No eraser is a bummer, and it is a little tricky to fit the end into the iPad port in order to charge it. It is pretty but slippery, should have some kind of rubbery surface in the middle like the Wacom pens have.

Yes I recommend to buy this product
Works great... as expected. I use it on both my iPad Pro 10 inch and iPad Pro 9.7 inch and use it for Mainly note taking and mark up on pdf's and other dictation's. I don't draw with the Apple Pencil, and did not buy it for that reason. There are plenty of good apps to use it with. If you can afford it, I recommend getting it, you will love it.

Not an artist. Still like it.
I bought this with my iPad pro and even though I'm not an artist, I'm glad I bought it. I use it to take notes and scroll and peck around when using the iPad. To me it's worth it. It really is similar to writing with a pen/pencil/highlighter (depending on what mode you have it in) and there is really no perceptible latency or other issues. Great for artist
The Apple Pencil has allowed me to draw with a precision I never thought possible on a mobile device. While not a neccicary accessory for the iPad Pro it's highly recommended if you are going to do any art.

I can recommend this pen dearly.
I use this drawing mainly. It performs remarkably well. The feeling and weight are excellent. one star goes away for slightly less than a top noch batterylife.

Excellent accessory for iPad Pro
So I have to say after trying numerous high end stylus over the years, the combo of 10.5 iPad Pro and Apple Pencil work are far beyond the rest. That said, for the cost of the Apple Pencil I wouldn't recommend the purchase unless you plan to either do a lot of hand writing/note taking, and/or art on your iPad. If you do though this stylus is a must buy!

This little pencil is really neat! I love drawing, and one of the things that always stop me from drawing was the mess of eracing in the amount of different types of pencils that I needed. Works fine but battery life short.
Works fine and will work better when the new OS comes out. Issue is it doesn't hold a charge very long. Every time it gets moved or bumped it reconnects via Bluetooth and sucks up battery power. Had it in a pencil holder loop attached to my iPad Pro and it would only last 3 days even though I wasn't using it. If left alone on a table it holds charge far longer. Not practical to charge it via the iPad port as it is in the way. Luckily it comes with an adapter to use the normal charging cable. I set up 2 cables so I can use and charge both at same time.

Fantastic accessory for the new iPad Pro 10.5!
This Apple Pencil is just amazing for use with my new iPad Pro 10.5! Whether it's for drawing, or just using as an extension of my finger, it is worth the price of admission.

Awesome But It Should Be Cheaper
Feels good in the hands. Very responsive. Charges fast. Has an adapter to charge with a USB instead of charging on the iPad which looks weird and may get damaged if bumped. It does have a slow drain when not in use, probably because it's still connected via Bluetooth. I just feel it should be cheaper hence the 4 stars. But I just had to have it.

Great accessory
Works great. Using it to take notes and automatically convert handwriting to text with Nebo, an excellent application. Also doodling and sketching in Notes. Automatically couples to the iPad in seconds, charges from iPad or by using an adapter and a regular Lightning cable.

a must-have for ipad pro, but, there's room for improvement
anyone who uses ipad pro knows they need this for graphics work. while I'm impressed with the design and technology (very lightweight), there's definite room for improvement. It's slippery (even after using it for a week, I realized I had to get a rubber sleeve), and it's length is about 2 longer than any pencil (or pen). I also bought a rubber cap sleeve for the head and the female/female adapter, so I don't have to worry about losing these when I recharge the pencil; can't say much about the tip lifespan but I'm assuming it's ok.

Worth the $$$
It is great to use with the iPad pro. I'm impressed with the accuracy when editing photos. It's also lighter than I thought it was going to be. Feels like the weight of a real pen.

A great tool for the iPad Pro
The pencil works great. I love how I can now draw and write directly on my iPad. I do wish they made the charging options better. It's a little cumbersome to have to connect it to the iPad in order to charge.

This thing is awesome
The pencil is very easy to use. Plug it into the iPad's charging port and it syncs via Bluetooth. It comes in handy and is fun to use. I use it to make lists and for coloring in apps.

Nice Addition to 10.5 ipad
Nice quality tool that enhances the experience of using the ipad. Pricey, but if you're buying a brand new ipad I suggest purchasing the pencil as well.

Must buy for digital artists.
This is excellent replacement for Cintiq monitors. I would recommend this to all the digital artists. I pencil with I pad pro 12.9 works wonders. And you can not compare the touch features with Cintiq, as those monitors have the worst palm rejection. I have 27 QHD but I like I pad pro and ipencil better to work. Don't give a second thought, just go for it. And you won't find better offer on this product anywhere else.

Good Tool - needs software
I'm having fun with this but I wish I knew about more software to exploit its full functionality. Without 3rd party software, I'm finding I can only use the Apple pencil with the Apple Notes software and that's too rudimentary for most of what I want to do (even when taking notes at a meeting). Also, in notes I wish I could bet a broader line for simple handwriting. So -- no complaints about the pencil itself (although I did order a separate lasso of sorts for the tiny cap and charger connection since they are so easy to misplace). However, now SOFTWARE is the issue.
