Remarkably sturdy little tripod
On a recent visit to NYC, I purchased this table top tripod on a bit of a whim. Knowing that we would be visiting sites in the city at night, I wanted something portable and packable that would give my camera stability for 30 second exposures. While in NYC, I used the tripod several times: on a pillar on top of Rockefeller Centre, set directly on the Manhattan Bridge, on a pillar at ground level near the Brooklyn Bridge, and on the ground at the ... Sturdy little thing.
Somehow this tripod holds my rebel and 60mm macro quite well. This tripod is very light and compact and can fit in anywhere. This is great for getting on the ground. If you have a larger lens or telephoto it will fall over. Again, this is good for short, lighter lenses. I gave this 3 stars not so much for bad performance but for the price I paid it should feel a little bit better built. You will feel like you overpaid but it does gets the job done.

Nice to bring with...
Strong and convinient for light gear camera/video, even if I am using it with my heavy 7D (+grip) with some care. Folding nicely, convinient handle, telescopic height (TT200) is plenty enough for table or desktop (almost 2x the height of the picture). The removable ball head is tiny but suprisingly sturdy, and a breeze to setup. Maybe I'll buy another head to keep it for many years of happy using.

Worth the buy!..For the price
The device is farely well built. Least to say, the tightening method works; almost. Upon tightening to withstand my 3lb Canon 720HS, TT-200 worked like a charm the first time. After removing the camera from the stand under ten times the screws aren't as tight. Quality material!!! Still Worth the buy as long as camera weight stays within range.

Nice Small Tripod
This is a great, strong tripod for those with digital cameras including DSLR ones. I had my 17-70mm lens on the camera, and it didn't fall forward. The small rubber parts under each leg to fall out easily, and the big con is that there's no balance bubble. There's also no arm, so that makes it interesting to move around.

Strong, perfect size
This is a little tank. Fits great in my gear bag, its never left at home. Very light, and amazingly strong. holds my DSLR with the 55-300 lens. I wish it could pan better, that's my only ding. other than that it's been great. I used it in moderate wind on top of 30 Rock in New York, at it did fantastic.

Great for what it is
This tripod does exactly what it's supposed to do, with no pretensions. Well built, stable and solid in use. Heavier camera/lens combinations tax the head adjustments but are easy to work around. For what it is designed for, it does the job; it certainly won't replace your traditional tripod.

Nice tripod for travel
The TT-200 is your basic table top tripod, but it's very sturdy, has a nice ball head, and also has more extension that the cheaper models. (It's not a tripod to use on the ground.) It fits in my camera bag, and is very useful. The alternative is really a full size tripod.

A great addition
For fixed video graphing of performance troupe as a second video source in addition to a wide angle panned video. A gread rock-solid fixed tripod. Easily set up and locked in position. Good and heavy for stability. No negatives that I could find.

Quality product for the price.
I have only used this tripod twice after I received it. Both times it met my requirements. The first was a landscape shot and the second was a macro from above the subject. I especially like the fact that I can remove the ball mount.

perfect for the intended use
I needed a small but strong tripod to put in a back pack for a European vacation. This was perfect. Very light and small but able to support a Canon T2I with the battery grip and 18-135 lens. Exactly as advertised. Great product

Simple Discreet Beautiful
I'll provide real value here as there's almost always something left out of the description and specs that we dearly want to know. In this case, what is the full diameter of the footprint on the desk? 9. You're welcome!

Great Little Tripod
The Oben tabletop tripods are solid sturdy tripods. I use them to hold my flashes for product photography. I have both the 100 and 200 models. Good value for your money. I added shoe brackets to the top.

Great addition to my X-T2
Despite it's size, this tripod can hold my X-T2, the power grip and the 18-135 firmly and safely. So far, I'm very satisfied and recommend it to all B&H customers.
