Tripod Carrying Made Easy
I had been considering a tripod strap for some time now, not wanting to have to carry the larger case all the time. This strap works well, is reasonably priced, and comfortable. I found I had to buckle the legs in-between the first and second leg joint to keep it from slipping up the legs, but certainly not an issue. I like the larger shoulder pad as well.

Definitely does what it is intended to do
I had an old Bogen 3050 tripod and a 3047 head (that I believe was originally sold as a set under the number 3052) that I couldn't find any information about the original strap that might have come with it and this was the suggestion that was given by the rep at B&H out of the myriad of otions that were available. The strap fits perfectly around the head and legs and is definitely easy to leave around the head and just undo the legs. The shoulder... Show More

GREAT PRODUCT!!!
I bought my mom this as a gift for mother's day and she loves it already!!! She's been wanting a strap like this for a while and when I saw one for such a good price I knew I needed to get it. While it took us a little while to figure out how to attach it, she loves it!!! Would 100% recommend. Super useful for professional photographers or those who are just starting out!!! Great product!

As Advertised
I am using the strap for my tripod on a foreign trip. So far it is useful. You do need to carry it over the head and shoulder not just one shoulder. I find it really helps chasing a subject around new areas.

There is always another solution.
My main tripod is a Cullmann 2502 that I purchased over thirty years ago. The carrying case was too clumsy to use so I purchased the Oben TS-200 Tripod Strap. My Cullmann didn't have any place for the snap clip so the other Oben models were out. I am using the Brenthaven backpack so carrying my tripod on my back or on my shoulder was problematic. What I did was to use the strap to secure the tripod to the backpack by having the strap portion of t... Show More

Excellent Addition
If you are going to carry your tripod for any length of time or distance, I would recommend this tripod strap. It is quick to attach and makes carrying your tripod over your shoulder very easy. The strap is made of material that do NOT scratch the tripod and it stores in a small amount of space.

Love it.
I use this with my Manfrotto VMV500A monopod when I'm trekking around and it works great. The padding is comfortable and flexible. It tightens perfectly and I love the quick release clips (that probably work better on a tripod, but I love them non-the-less - despite the mild mono-pod awkwardness).

The Perfect Tripod Strap
Ok, so I tried making my own strap out of an old guitar strap. Not bad, but not good either. Then I heard good things about the Oben TS-200, so when I ordered a new portable tripod, I decided to try one of these puppies as well. What a brilliant design! They figured out all the little things that it needed, put it all together, and the result is an easy to use, quick to put on and take off, super comfortable system. You just slip those loops arou... Perfect for This 78 year photographer
I now can carry my tripod across my back. It is comfortable, easy to reattach to the tripod when I am ready to head for home.

It Works Well
It works well and does the job with my Manfrotto 293. I use a tripod A LOT therefore I will be curious to see how well constructed this is for heavy use over time. For the first week or two after I unpackaged the strap, it had an awful, very strong odor of rubber that also got on my clothes from using the strap. The smell was strong enough to stink up an entire 300 sq ft room. It seems to be going away now but I found that issue to be a little la... Show More

Really Works Well
This strap makes carrying a tripod over the shoulder very comfortable. The padding is generous and the rubber material stays in place while walking, so that the tripod doesn't slip down on the shoulder. The two strap buckles easily connect and disconnect to remove it from the tripod, and the loops adjust easily and stay in place. There is nothing not to love about this. Just be mindful not to leave it on the ground, which I did, so am ordering a replacement.

Awesome Quality!
This strap is high quality. I was debating between this and the Op-Tech strap, which was a few bucks cheaper. But when I compared the Op-Tech ($22) and Oben ($30) straps in the pictures, something about the Op-Tech one looked cheap, while the Oben looked high quality. I'm sure either one would've been fine, but since this is something I am sure would last forever, I went ahead and spent the extra 9 bucks and be happy with it, and I am! I love how... Show More

LABOR SAVOR
Next best thing to having an assistant carry the tripod for you. Would give it five starts if it carried the tripod by itself.

TS-200 Tripod Strap with Two Quick-Relea
Quick connects work easily and adjust to the width of your tripod. The strap has length adjustments with wide shoulder pad that is textured to grip clothing to prevent it from sliding around. I have only connected it to see if it fits my Manfrotto tripod and it does but I haven't used it yet.

Great Option
This is a great option when you know that you do not need a lot of equipment on your day of shooting. Throwing my tripod over my shoulder and walking long distances seems to be so much easier the caring everything. The rubber backing on the wide part of the trap keeps it from sliding down and is very durable.

Trekking around with your tripod
Nice strap.. I haven't yet used it except for a test fit and I'm excited to use on my next expedition to Asia. I have an aluminum Manfrotto travel tripod which I will use for timelapse/landscape and this strap makes it easy to carry when running around without a car and assistant. The padding and length is perfect. I'm 6'4.

Very comfy
Very pleased with this, made my heavy tripod MUCH more comfy to carry, and it doesn't slip at all, I can carry it in whatever angle/position I wish. I think one thing that might be an even bigger improvement would be velcro straps rather than the clip fasteners, as it would make it easier to secure it tighter, and not slip, but then it would also not be as fast as it is with the quick release to undo

Looks like just the ticket for me.
I had always carried a tipod with me when hiking but had never purchased a strap to carry the tripod. Finally started shopping and this particular strap turns out to be a simple solution to carrying it by hand all the time. Good design, simple and well constructed.

Worth the purchase
I'm glad I purchased this item before hiking and taking pictures of waterfalls one weekend. With a hike of approx. 5-6 miles, it would have been difficult to carry my tripod and camera at the same time. Using this strap made carrying the tripod so much easier.

I have only used it once so far. Maybe now I will actually use my tripod. The padding seems good.

not Leave Without It
Very easy to use. It is best that you can use with any tripod either photography or video. I personally use it with tripods Libec and Manfrotto.

simple and effective
Nothing fancy at all. You find a place around the head to firmly fasten one strap and a place around the legs to firmly fasten the other and hold the three legs together. Adjust strap and put it over your shoulder. Some fiddling with the lengths to get it to hang in a convenient fashion. Does not protect like a tripod bag but on the other hand there is no confusion about which size and design to purchase to fit your tripod and head. Once you figu... Show More
