Really good, but not perfect
Most of the reviewers are correct: this is a great idea, executed well but with some shortfalls. The strap has a belt with a plastic quick disconnect clip to go around the bottom legs and a gated carabiner to clip to the top of the tripod. The bottom belt is almost too small to encompass a full-sized tripods legs (Manfrotto). The top clip is excellent, but the attachment on our tripods (not the camera) is too far down for a proper vertical slin... Show More

Works great. Great value.
I bought it on sale because it seemed a elegant solution to a very practical problem. Even full retail, it's not too expensive. Sale price made it more compelling. I haven't taken in in the field for any prolonged length of time. But I did test it for fit and comfort on one of my travel tripods by a different manufacturer. This tripod feels fairly light in its travel case. But with this strap and it's padded shoulder section, it felt virtually we... Show More

Nice Idea, bad design
An inexpensive convenient alternative to a full bag. Velcro straps to go around the bottom of the legs is convenient, but what about the top clip. If you buy the Oben Tripod Hanger (1/4-20), it only works if you don't have a camera attached to your tripod head mounting plate! WHO DOES THAT? I and I'm sure anyone beyond a point and shoot photographer uses a dedicated mounting system, such as arca swiss style or Manfrotto etc. On all there camera g... Show More

Nice idea
Overall I find this light and easily packable. A better solution for attaching to the top of the tripod would be handy. A spring laded clip must be mated with some sort of ring, or closed loop, such as the recommended Oben TRIPOD HANGER (1/4-20 THREAD. Fine if the tripod doesn't have a mounting plate on top. I have Arca swiss style on mine. My tripod has 1/4-20 holes between leg mount's, on top plate, so I can attach the oben loop. Also the hard material of the tripod is a bit uncomfortable against the back.

Super
When taking photos in the parks, I found that carrying a tripod in its bag was awkward because in order to use the tripod, I had to remove it from the bag, put the bag down and attach the camera to the tripod. To move further away, I had to reverse the whole process. With the Oben strap over my shoulder, it is so much easier! The strap is well made, easy to use, and does not slip off my shoulder...the most important part. Now, I can better pay attention to photography and less to logistics!

Good comfort, odd design length
The strap is practical. It is better than the alternative of adapting a rifle sling to a tripod. But, two oddities: (1) I would prefer if the head end were up when slung over a shoulder. The length of the pad compared to the length at the clip end opposes that idea. When comfortably placed, the foot end is either up, or the foot end is too short. (2) the clip itself is not conducive to easily attaching to the clip on the Manfrotto head.

Great carry strap
I have an Oben CT-3510 tripod, which came with a padded carry case. The case is great for storage and transporting my tripod, but awkward when carrying it on a field trip. This strap works well on trips and is easy to store in your camera bag once the tripod is in use. My Oben tripod did not have a way to hook the strap to it, so I also purchased the tripod hanger (OBTH14), which works very well.

Design Failure
The only way the padded part of the strap is on your shoulder is if you have the tripod/camera hanging horizontally, or, as another person pointed out, the feet are at your head (and even then, it's more across your chest). I even tried switching the ends and shortening the clip end and while that helped, it doesn't help enough. Were it not so expensive to return, I would.

Quicker use of tripod.
The case that protects my tripod also protects it from me. Much quicker to set up and tear down by just unsnapping the loop around the legs and allowing it to dangle from the top or wrap around two legs when setup, to keep it out of the mud and dirt. I have also used it to suspend my camera bag to stabilize the tripod.

Does the Job
I bought this for my Manfrotto 3021B Pro. It attaches easily and works well I'm happy with it. You can adjust the length on each side of the shoulder strap independently, which makes it easier to customize the fit. The overall length is okay, but another foot or so of extension would be welcome.

Well made but; not that great a fit
The strap itself is very well made; but it isn't that good a fit for the Bogen 3040 tripod. There isn't any really good location to fasten the Spring Lock hook; and there doesn't seem to be enough strap length to position the shoulder pad in the correct position for carrying.

TS-100 Tripod Strap with Quick-Release
Great strap but the tripod I bought Manfrotto 190prob is a little long and makes it a bit awkward to put over your shoulder while having a camera backpack on. I am looking for a new camera bag to that has a place to carry the tripod in it.

Good carry strap for a small tripod
This carry strap will not work on my Manfroto 4-Section Carbonfiber Tripod. The loop that goes arouind the legs is to small so I have to lock it around only two legs. Double check the diameter of your tripod legs when folded for travel.

Tripod setup time is much quicker.
About all of my tripods have a canvas zippered case. Digging it out of the case requires time. Leaving the strap hooked to the tripod and unhooking the the bottom ring around the legs is a real time saver in both setup and tare down.

Don't use much.
Bought by mistake. Thought I was buying a camera strap but decided to keep it for my tripod. I really don't use it much at all but can see where it would be handy for some.

I love this product!
The quality is evident with the first touch. It is great for carrying a tripod on long walks or hikes. The width and the padding are generous, so this works very well.

Does exactly what it should
It works well. The clip is easy to use and the strap has a high build quality. The bottom of the strap had a grippy surface which makes it secure during transport.

Love the quick release
Great strap that disconnects easily. I don't like the strap hanging while I am using the tripod and this one disconnects very easily. Very comfortable as well.

Great and useful product
I needed a tripod strap that can swing over the shoulder and keep my hands free. This is the right strap for it. I could not do without it these days.

Perfect!
this is perfect when lugging the tripod around on hikes. The strap is padded, and it just makes it easier to carry around. Recommend!

Great aid for hands free tripod carrying
Makes it easy to keep track of tripod and not accidently leave it behind when moving from place to place during photographing images.

It was so convenient and comfortable that I forgot I was wearing it and thought that I had left my tripod in the car.
