Almost useless
Who has the 1/4 inch camera mounting stud exposed? Most photographers have multiple similar plates attached to their cameras. All my cameras have mounting plates permanently attache to my cameras.

Great little device
This worked out perfectly for my tripod that has a screw attachment on the bottom to suspend weights from for stability.

Great Idea
I mounted it on a camera quick release plate for the tripod. It should work better for lighter tripods. Mine is heavy duty and I changed the key ring to a heavier one and it works great. By mounting it on a tripod quick release plate saves unscrewing it from the tripod before using it. Stick the plate in your pocket and you are good to go.

Great space savers
Even collapsed, bigger tripods tend to take up room; when theres more than one, it gets even more crowded. These hangers are slick: just screw one onto the 1/4/20 stud on the camera platform; install a hook in the overhead or shelf bottom and hang up the tripod. Its out of the corner and from under foot. Good deal!

Simple but useful.
I use this product to carry a small "mini" tripod on my belt or backpack. For what it is it is very well made. The ring hanger is a "split" ring and can easily be changed out. The only recommendation I would make is if you are going to use to carry a tripod or mono pod you might want to consider a 1/4" rubber washer when attaching the hanger to reduce the possibility of loosening. I would recommended this product to a friend.

Perfect tripod accessory
I use it to connect a strap to carry my tripod over my shoulder. Works perfectly. I only wish it was made of a more sturdy material. The ring is starting to chew thru the metal around the hole. Has not failed yet though.

Works great
Great solution for storing my tripods. I have several of these to help keep things organized and off the floor. They clip nicely onto carabiners that hang from a coat hanger.

Smart little guy!
This thing is genius. It allows me to use a carabiner to clip my mini tripod to the exterior of my camera bag. This would come in handy as well to hang my tripod, were it full-sized.

You think this is silly.......but wait !
When hiking or traveling with a backpack of other worn packs the more options to secure your external gear like monopods and tri-pods the better. Don't question just get a couple of these and then tether them to the device and or your pack !

Nicely made and finished in polished, machined aluminun. It screws perfectly in standard 1/4-20. The ring seems strong. I plan to use it to hang weight from the tripod rather than to hang the tripod itself.

Quite Handy
Seems simple but it's one of those thing you didn't know you needed until you get one. My tripods were stacked in a corner of the office but now they hang from hardware store hooks underneath a wall cabinet. Good way to keep them organized and handy.

Smart little accessory
Well, it's not that someone reinvented the wheel, but this is a handy little accessory if you want to store your tripods without mounting a special receiver bar for them. I use one on the bottom of the center column of my travel tripod to easily hang my camera bag or another weight to stabilize the tripod.

Simple, Effective, and Functional
The tripod bottom mount has a much better use to employ one of these hangers. Perfect for hang carrying your tripod on either your bag or a harness belt and most important using your bag as a tripod stabilizer. I bought one of these Petzl Caritool and they were just made for each other! Installed on my Japan made Velbon Super Chaser the hanger makes my tripod COMPLETE. Truly satisfied...

Opps! Purchased this as it was the only one I saw under Tripod Hangers. Thought it was one size fits all. Not so! Still seems a well made little thing.

Great little accessory item
Very well made and at a nice price point. I use it when carrying both a camera and lightweight tripod, using two different over the shoulder straps such as the Sun Sniper Steel-Steel Reinforced Padded Camera Sniper Strap. Drape the camera to one side of your body and the tripod / monopod to the other and your hands are free.

EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED!
I use it to fasten a field monitor to a camera strap that I can hold around my neck while I photograph. It had to be strong because the monitor costs a lot, and it is. I added a small rubber washer on the threaded end and it fits snuggly against the monitor base. It's exactly what I was looking for! Good Quality, or I wouldn't use it!

Awesome Accessory!
I use these to hang my monopod on my backpack and to tie down tripods with sand bags. Excellent multi-purpose tool for photographers! The key ring piece isn't ultra heavy duty, so I tie sandbags to the actual metal hole on the hanger.
