Turnspro Time-Lapse Camera Mount

MPN's:
Turnspro Rotating Camera mount
This device is very smooth in operation and makes no noise as it turns. It is very versatile and can be set for turns in degrees or turns. I prefer to use degrees, and those can be set in 15 degree increments from 15 to 360 degrees. It can also be set to rotate in 1 direction (either clockwise or counter clockwise). It can also be set to rotate in either direction, then reverse at the same speed back to the original position. Because of all the options, it takes quite a long time to get setup, but other than tat, I love this device.

So far so good
So far I'm pleased with this mount though I have not used it with my heavier cameras just go pros and phone I do wish that it would remember your settings and not have to start from scratch every time and it seems to eat batteries. It does offer quite flexible program ability and seems to perform as Directed

Would give five star if not for the price...
In full disclosure, my camera and lens setup is a little heavier than the maximum limit advertised within this offer. That being said, the product works fine at a horizontal level, but at an angle - it will not work. The motor will turn, but the camera will not. I bought this for astrophtography, and based on the design I do not think I can get this thing to rotate horizontally with the camera (somehow) mounted on top at an angle. Second, puttin... Show More

Turnspro
The Turnspro mount works great. All pictures are aligned and stiching is them together is much faster. Small and light, it's easy to carry, sets up fast.

Poorly made
The + and - poles on the battery compartment don't match the springs (which are supposed to be on minus).... I tried every battery combination possible. Couldn't get it to work..... RETURNED!

+/- and hints
By far the most flexible in terms of programming turns/degrees and hours/minutes to run. If this mount was sturdier and could handle more weight it would be the best I've looked at. Even a compact camera if tilted strains the motor. If you're doing a time lapse star video 1 turn in 16 hours is about right, 1 turn in 4 or 5 hours runs fast, assuming your taking a shot every 20 seconds. Before starting shutter allow to run for a while to remove backlash.
