Perfect lightweight camera
So far, so good. I used it at a birthday party and was amazed at the images produced in low light. In addition, I could capture my fast moving grandchildren without blurred images. Dials are small but I have only had it two weeks so I'm still adjusting. Can't wait to use it on my next vacation

A Lot of Power for a Very Small Package
I would like to qualify my recommendation. I don't know that I would recommend it to a casual shooter who only does snapshots for special occasions. It is definitely a professional's or advanced enthusiast's point and shoot camera. It is very compact. Great compact point and shoot!
I am a novice photographer and just getting my feet wet so buying this camera was a little bit of a stretch for me because of the cost. I have a Sony DSLR that I love but it is too big for a lot of events that I attend. This camera is compact but very powerful!! It does everything I need and more and the quality is outstanding! I am very happy with both functionality as well as quality in such a small package! The video is tack sharp as well!

I love my new camera!
I always carry a camera and take a lot of photos for fun and for work. I also travel a lot. I like this little Sony because it has a great lens and it's small and portable and easy to use. I haven't found anything that I don't like about it.

Great little camera-some disappointments
I bought for a compact backpacking/casual camera that still has high quality images for nature photography and/or scouting shots.Pros: very compact, good feel to quality of body construction and weight. VERY fast lense, nice LCD display, intuitive contols in general. Good image quality, especially for size.Cons: some aborations (blues and violets) at high end of exposures (blow outs turned blue at edges), which was disappointing given the overall quality of the images. Color rendering seems a bit flat, but there is so much data to work with, this is minor to tweak in post work.

Sturdy little tank
Feels like a substantial camera body that will go the distance....durable. Still getting acquainted. Not too user friendly or intuitive but I am hopeful on quality of images and options. No regrets.

Great Small Camera
I am very impressed with the quality of the images. I almost feel like I can't take a bad picture with his camera. I do a lot of product shots for my work and they all have come out beautifully, a million times better than my old camera.

Better than expected!
I knew this compact camera had great reviews but was skeptical. Such ease of use, yet such professional quality photos! I can now drop the burden of a heavy DSLR & still get great photos when out & about!

Terrific camera in a tiny package
Super-compact, takes magazine-quality pictures. Loaded with onboard visual effects, which I thought campy & useless until I needed to create a comic book and used the 'illustration' mode to quickly crank one out.

A great pocket camera
The intelligent auto setting assures a great pic when used in a touristy manner. For special pics, the IA Superior mode takes multiple shots and combines them for a super photo that normally could not be taken.

Excellent product
Used for candid family events, Zeiss lens is the best, sharpest image comparable to high end DSLR. Grip and flash leaves something to be desired.

A lovely little camera
Bought this for a trip to Europe and was looking for a small, lightweight camera that could still produce good-looking pictures. I was not disappointed in the quality. The wide aperture allows for a nice, soft background as well as really pretty low-light pictures. Only drawback was I wish the lcd screen were a little tougher. I found a small scratch on it after only a few weeks of use.

Lives up to the hype
Very satisfied with the quality and performance of this little jewel. With a little time to get to know the camera I am already achieving near SLR quality images with a pocket camera I carry almost everywhere and does not call much attention to itself as a regular SRL so people act more natural. Amazing camera but a disappointing zoom
The camera has got all the features you would look for. The quality of pictures is amazing. Pictures taken in the dark are very good. Speed of the shutter is exceptional. But the zoom of 3.6 is disappointing.

Wow! Amazing!
This camera is as good or better than all the reviews you may have read. As a casual photographer I easily learned how good the auto feature is, changing mode for portraits, scenery, and the automatic flash.

Excellent, barring some ergonomics
All around great. Fast response times, except for power-on to first shot and flash reload (well over 1 sec). Auto modes generally pick reasonable apertures and shutter speeds. One subpar design feature is the control ring: I use it for aperture or focus setting. It is clickless, probably since that would be odd for focus. Great DLSR replacement
I use the camera for a long international trips and have had no issues. I did an extensive amount of research on this particular camera before purchasing, and I'm glad I did. I would advise any serious enthusiast or person concerned about image quality (you know who you are) to use this as a DSLR replacement when you want something smaller. Small Camera Packs a Powerful Punch!
I use this camera for times I need high quality photos, and when I don't want to carry my large DSLR. It's small and light enough to carry in my pocket, which is a feature I love! Absolutely the best point and shoot for the price. (it pains me to call such an inventive and versatile camera a point and shoot!) This camera is loaded with many manual and automatic features. Stills or video - the Image quality is amazing. I'm continually blown away by the video. It looks so juicy :) This camera is the perfect travel companion, after you experience the image quality, you won't believe that it comes from such a small camera. Great features in small package
This camera is what everyone says, amazing sensor and features in a very small package. It's worth it. The photos are that much better than the tiny-sensored compact cameras everyone else is selling (granted you can't get the super telephoto in a compact without a small sensor, so granted, it's based on needs/interests).
