Beautiful.
The BD750 fits the Nikon D750 perfectly! The upward-raised, rounded back edge prevents it from rotating like standard tripod plates. The finish is beautiful. The edges are rounded and smooth and the black finish holds up extremely well. It doesn't add much bulk to the camera and has a threaded hole that I occasionally use to attach a black rapid strap to. It basically lives on my D750 as I rarely have a need to remove it. It costs more than other plates but is worth every penny.

I bought it again!
I bought the RRS L-plate for the Canon 5D mark IV and after receiving it realized that working without one on my Canon 5DsR was senseless. They really complete the handling package for any situation. Vertical images and pano's become easier to do especially with an RRS rail adapter. A true solid feel to the camera and a must have for better balance. The extra weight with the battery pack and the L-Plate helps reduce the vibrations and limit pixel blur on the 5DsR.

Rubber Gasket Issue
While having to reposition the battery door from the camera itself to the actual L-bracket was a one time minor annoyance, I came away disappointed that the rubber gasket was squished after a couple of weeks and has not been broken off after months of use. It was meant to be a waterproofing feature for the rubber gasket but rather poorly designed and not tested to last. a first for me to be disappointed with RRS having bought a number of products before.

Not Impressed
The RRS L Bracket Fits well and seems to be designed properly. The issues I have are. 1 it took way too long to get, no excitement left in the purchase experience. 2 the price is too high for what you get, by maybe 40%. It feels like RRS is taking un-fair advantage of the A7R3 and A9 owners. 3 no free freight, are you kidding me, I expect that a 300 dollar purchase on two very small items should be shipped free freight. Like I said, I am not impressed.

It really is right for this camera.
while I have average sized hands the EM1 Mark II bottom didn't extend quite far enough to be really comfortable. The RRS base plate added just enough extra to make holding the camera feel just right. it becomes an integral part of the camera. It also relocates the tripod socket to the exact center of the baseplate. The allen wrench used to attach the base is magnetized and fits tightly into a recession in the RRR base itself, a nice added feature.

does not fit arca swiss
BH have denied the return of my L plate. Whilst itself is a great looking product , it does not fit the Arca Swiss monofix d4 head. I threw out the packaging before realising the L plate dovetail didnt fit and BH have decide to not honor this product return which is absolutely disgraceful. I spend thousands at this store as a professional and I am shocked at this decision. I hope some of you read this with Arca swiss heads and DO NOT buy this.

Works on BG-E22 too
Fantastic fit, finish and feel. I used this on my BG-E20 for ages and you wont find a better plate. Also, I use the QD socket for all my straps and it is an amazing system. I was disappointed to learn that RRS did not make a similar product for the EOS R BG-E22. You have to buy a one-piece L plate, which interferes with the screen. So I was excited to figure out that this plate fits on the BG-E22 exactly and it is an identical fit. Whoohooo!

Superbly Made, Breathtakingly Expensive
Love RRS stuff, but at the prices being charged, and with alternatives readily available, it takes a commitment and belief that the additional paid is worth the cost in the long run. I have found that to be the case with other RRS (ball head, etc.). So, it gets a 5 star rating from me. Ask me again in 20 years, and it will probably still look almost new, be without any warp or other deterioration, and will be one of my better investments.

Well made, grear precision fit
This is my first piece from RRS. Had previously used camera plates from other well known manufactures. Noticed that when I sold my Canon 5D mark3 that when I removed the plate (from another manufacturer) that the body showed wear marks where the plate touched the body on the back. Don't think that this will happen with this plate. Very precisely made. Also a better fit to my Arca Swiss Z1 tripod head. Do like the magnetic wrench holder.

An Essential Addition
I prefer to hold a camera in the left hand and could never be comfortable holding my A9, especially when using zooms. The RRS L-Plate gives me the adjustable grip I was longing for. Both hands are now comfortably holding the camera. I also hooked my camera strap to the bottom left hole of the L Plate and to the right eyelet of the camera so the camera hangs down comfortably and provide stability when shooting. It is worth every penny.

Excellent product but a bit expensive
This is an excellent product. It is a perfect fit for the camera, the battery door attaches to it easily and makes access to the battery easy while retaining the weather seal, and the allen wrench is held in place with a magnet which makes it easy to access. I like that the side can be moved out to make more room to attach cables, although there is sufficient room for what I do. It is a bit expensive but is an excellent product.

much better than the universal base plate
Doesn't slip! Very snug fit to my camera, surprisingly snug fit even. Build quality is solid, and I very much appreciate the inclusion of the Allen Key to deal with the bolt as well as the magnetic snappy thing to keep the Allen Key attached to the base plate at all times, without which would have made me extremely annoyed that I'd have to carry an Allen key in all of my bags and have the potential to lose it and whatnot.

RRS L bracket over priced and under preformed
Well made L bracket yes does it move when installed on a battery grip yes Does it scratch the paint off your new Sony YES DOES IT MOVE EVEN MORE WHEN YOU INCORPORATE A SPIDER LITE HAND STRAP ANOTHER YES Would I do it again NO! I can only judge on my own experience My canon 5Dmk III WITH A battery grip A Kirk L bracket and a spider hand strap is as solid as a Rock So needles to say I am more than disappointed

Works as Advertised
Fits well, stable in both landscape and portrait orientation. Battery easy to access by moving door from camera body to L-set mount. I have not tried it in the rain yet, waterproofing seems similar to Alpha body in this respect so I wouldn't get it soaked. Best extra feature is that it accommodates the pinky so no extra adapter is necessary. It may provide some protection for the body as well. Overall I am happy with it.

Necessary and Best piece of equipment
I always had trouble keeping my camera screwed in tight to my ballhead tripod. And when I went to switch to vertical shoot, the camera would just start to loosen. This L bracket was the perfect answer to my problem holding the camera securely both horizontally and vertically. I chose Really Right Stuff because they have quality products... slightly more expensive but a perfect fit for my camera. I absolutely love it !

Excellent product
Before I bought this I used a generic L-Bracket for my OM-D E-M1 mkII which was ok - or so I thought. But once I had this L-Plate Set it became very, very clear that I was missing out big time. This bracket fits like glove, is easy to install, has some well-thought features (like possibility to tilt the screen using the break in the bracket) and so on. Yes, it's expensive for an L-Bracket but it is worth every cent!

If you need it
It's designed well and is pretty useful if you use a side mount often. For me, however, I switched to a Peak Design system for their backpack and belt clips, so I ended up selling this one. After I had the RRS L bracket off for a couple days I realized how much I like the camera more without it. The A7Rii is a nice size and weight. This L bracket makes the camera taller and wider and for me that's not preferable.

Perfect
This L-bracket is perfectly made. It's hard to understand how much better the construction is than that of the competition until you hold it yourself. The bracket fits my D810 perfectly, and there is absolutely no play in the security of its attachment because of this. The precision of the design and construction translate to more stable camera support and less risk of vibration or accidental camera movement.

Best L-Plate for your Sony A7RIII
It's my first time buying a RRS L-Plate since I have used cheaper China brands in the past for my other cameras. This plate feels luxurious in comparison with the cheaper brands. I highly recommend it. Otherwise, please note that BH staff pack like school children. If you are shipping overseas, you might incur bigger shipping costs. Please specify this when you make your next order. See the picture attached.

RRS not really all that right
The product was easy enough to install and seemed solid at first. After 3 days in the field with some rough hiking/driving, the screw for the strap attachment came lose (thankfully I had a hold of the camera at the time). The screw on the bottom came lose as well after extended use. They didnt supply the correct Allen wrench size for these screws. Consider other options before purchasing given the price.

You get what you pay for!!
The RRS L bracket for A7ii set lives up to the hype, its a superbly engineered bracket. If you want the best you have to pay for it, but its literally worth every penny, I just wish RRS products were more a accesible the UK, but with BHPs superb service its no great shakes to order online, I ordered on the Sunday, the package arrived on the Wednesday! Thanks again for your great customer service.

Enhances handling
Not only does this provide an Area Swiss compatible mounting plate, it adds about 1/2" of vertical height and a small bit of weight to the base. It is beautifully shaped with rounded edges unlike inexpensive alternatives. I prefer using this at all times. I must say that I think the vertical plate sold as an L-bracket package is unrealistic in its pricing. But the base plate itself is worth the money.

Great improvement for E-M1 Mii handling
Very well made. I have large hands so the plate allows me to also use my little finger to hold the camera - without the plate I can only use three fingers. With four fingers on the camera it is easier to use the two programmable buttons on the front of the camera with my middle and ring fingers. The plate supports my Arca-style tripod mount and has a small bar to use with my Peak Designs strap clip.

REALLY RIGHT PLATE
