These are exactly what I needed, and what I expected! I have already transferred slides from approximately 18 carousels to about half as many slide storage boxes. I did the math...The storage boxes take up less than 7% of the space that was used by the carousels! The separate little boxes within the storage boxes (reminiscent of crayon holders in Crayola boxes) hold between 22-25 slides, each. A combination of labeling, numbering and color coding is helping me keep track of the contents of the boxes. My next step will be to send them out to be scanned.

Perfect solution
Since I inherited several thousand slides from my father that were still held in 80 slide Kodak Carousel slide trays, my objective was to scan them all. As I completed that project, I wanted to store them in a container that took up considerably less space. The SB1122 Slide Storage Box is the perfect solution with its ability to hold 200 slides. My kids will appreciate not having to inherit 20 some Carousel trays.

An Excellent choice..
I had the daunting task of organizing 1800 slides to be scanned..I had them all in vinyl clear pages.. I wanted to keep them in order..I got 10 of these boxes and the work went fast..Much easier than i anticipated to catalogue the slides in these boxes...Would recommend them to anyone trying to store or reproduce slides..

Exactly as described
Nice, made-in-USA archival boxes seem to be exactly as described, and arrived on time. It does take a little while to fold all the insert boxes, but theyre very helpful for sorting the slides. Overall, pleased with the purchase and B&Hs service.

Great Storage for 35mm Slides
I have used these boxes for some time now to store hundreds of 35mm slides. I like the slide bins (which hold 24 slides) as this makes it easier to find specific slides (I label the bins with labels from a brother label printer).

Delivers exactly as advertised
Works great. The little divider boxes hold about 24 slides. They come shipped flat but are easy to fold together. The boxes are not flimsy at all, and fit inside regular file cabinet drawers just fine.

It's Okay
Nice box. I like to save slides under different file names and the little boxes that the slides first go into don't really allow me to do that. I just made my own dividers and tossed the little boxes.

Great space saver
I started purchasing these as I scanned slides and removed them from carousels. Slides fit snugly and the bins aid in organization and labeling. Good product overall.
