Getting used to it :)

Mar 19, 2014

I'm coming straight from using rolls of 120 storage strip, cutting them and then placing them into mail envelopes. I figured I'd give this a try and so far I'm thinking my old method was a lot more economical. I can see where this offers a better laid out organizational method, but I think after this set I might switch back to the envelope and shoebox method. I did find the film strips a bit difficult to load. There is an opening on both sides so... Show More

Excellent

Jul 8, 2016

All of Print File's storage pages are absolutely excellent, and this is no exception. If you need storage pages in this size, look no further. I have countless negatives and prints stored in Print File's pages, and the archival quality of them has proven to be of the highest quality. Print File's are the only storage pages I will ever buy. These are obviously also excellent for producing proof prints while minimizing the risk of damage to the negatives, as the plastic material is transparent enough to contact print without removing the film.

Great sleeves for easier scanning

Mar 20, 2016

If you use an epson V550 or V600 for scanning Medium format film then you know you can only scan 3 frames at a time...I was previously using sleeves that gave me 3 vertical strips of 4 frames, which made it a hassle to individually scan the 4th frame on each stip. With this you don't have to hassle with those 3 extra individual scans (that by the way need to get rotated). Much smoother workflow now!

Negatives hardly fitting inside

Oct 24, 2015

After several attempts to slide negative strips into the sleeves, I gave up and threw it into the garbage. The sleeves are too narrow to allow the negative strip to fit in comfortably. You need to force it through, risking damage to the surface of the negative. Removing the negative is even more problematic. Manufacturer of this product obviously never bothered to try it with 120 type negative.

New format is good in the digital age

Dec 27, 2019

I remember the old print file 120 sleeves. They were 4 to a strip, but with the 3 to a strip format, this can accommodate most flatbed scanners without cutting the film in half. I do like the change, and thank Print File for that. Will definitely continue to use. Been using print file for nearly 25 years, and no adverse effects on my negatives in storage.

I always buy print file

Jan 23, 2014

All of my print file negative holders have lasted me years. There isn't much to it. . . I mean it just holds negatives and it does its job. I prefer this style to the vertical 6x6 holders. Just personal preference. But a great product that in my experience has lasted and carried my negatives for years.

Convenient and practical

Mar 2, 2016

Convenient compact size. Perfectly chosen material, that allow you to remove and to insert negatives without the problems, while in pages by other manufacturers the negatives stick due to static electricity. Pages are transparent and allow view the negatives without the problems.

Holds 6x9 Too

Jan 30, 2013

Will hold 8 6x9 negatives, two per row. A few sleeves have been a little fidgety to get the negative to slide through, but rare and could have been the way I trimmed the negative. I would prefer that both ends of the sleeve not be open, but that is my preference.

Stores negatives well.

Jul 3, 2017

Of the various 6Xwhatever size formats for 120 film, all fit in this page. It holds one roll of 120 film in four quarters, whether that's four pieces of 2 6X9 negatives, 3 6X6 negatives or 4 6X4.5 negatives per quarter roll.

Great for Holga film

Jan 28, 2013

I use these for my holga 120 film, and it's perfect as long as you make SURE the film is COMPLETELY dry before putting it in the sleeves, otherwise it may stick and cause issues

The negatives/slides seem to more easily go in and out of these sheets, compared to other archival storage I have used in the past. Plus it's very easy to scan and printing!

4 strips of 3 frames

Nov 22, 2015

I use this with 6x6 frames. It ends up with 4 strips of 3 frames each. They fit in a standard binder perfectly. 3 frame strips work perfect in my flatbed scanner.

Good for archival storage of 120 film negatives

Jan 10, 2016

Convenient, however, since my scanner takes strips of 4 negs I wish it was designed to hold 4 vertically. Somewhat challenging to insert and remove negs.
