Seems a great buy, especially at the price. Works well, heats up quickly. Didn’t come covered in stickers that cost the plate in glue. Best feature for me is that it beeps at me if it’s been switched on but not touched for a while - no more forgetting to switch the iron off!

Because of the automatic temperature settings and coloured lights on this iron it’s very easy to maintain a set temperature and avoid any marks or burns. The iron is sturdy, irons well and also looks great for the price.

I recently purchased due to steam iron constantly sticking and causing marks to clothing items. I was amazed how smooth and effective this iron was. Have started using filtered water to help reduce the chance of limescale building up and marking clothes as before.

Love our new iron, heats up really quickly and has powerful steam/spray and can spray vertically too. Setting temperature is different to the old dial style, but we will get used to it. Plus it has safety cut out feature for peace of mind. Good product.

Nice and easy to use. Good steam function and seems to use less water than my previous iron. has rubber on the base so less likely to slip whn standing upright. Only complaint would be that there is no cable tie.

So far, so good. Nice and easy to use, heats up quickly and does a good job of ironing shirts. I would recommend putting kettle water in to prevent limes ale buildup (that’s why we need a new one). Good settings and the steam works wonders. Still early days but so far so good.

This iron delivers a smooth performance but there is one huge design flaw for someone like me. I use the steam button heavily on an iron and the steam button on this iron is to the right and not the left which makes it clunky for me to use.

This iron is a godsend, I’ve teenage sons who ruin every iron I own by having the temperature on the wrong setting. This offers a colour code to select the temperature for each material. It’s lightweight and looks nice. Breezes through my mounds of ironing!

Dont let the colour (an alien greenish turquoise ) or the flashing indicator to tell you that the iron is hot (whyyyy???) Put you off ..the bottom line this is a good reasonably priced iron which will make light work of your clothes and not leave any lasting marks ...win win

Yes it irons clothes well, plenty of steam, strong shot of steam when required. Heats up quickly and has a long cord

My trusted Tefal gave up so, after reading lots of reviews for different irons I choose the Russell Hobbs one. I have never had this brand before only ever using Tefal but they weren’t getting good reviews so decided on a change. I have never look at the weight of an iron but wished I had as this iron was ridiculously heavy. There are 4 adults in my house so I do a lot of ironing. There is no way I could do a load of ironing using this iron as it was far to heavy. Returned for refund.

I've never had a ceramic base so a bit wary as to how it would perform. I'm glad to say that it has been an excellent purchase and has cut down on time ironing . I'm very pleased with it and the price I paid.

Bought to replace iron which just packed up! Excellent service from Argos. Iron is quite light but has lots of modern features (coloured lights for different temperature fabrics) and is much easier to fill with water than my previous iron. Still early days, but happy so far.

Beautiful design, colours and easy to handle. Best feature for my use are the lay out of the steamers’ vents. Thank you.

My Russell Hobs Iron is excellent. I love the colour heat indicator. Can recommend this iron. Very good value.

The iron as an iron functions very well but the heat selection is confusing. Difficult to remember which colour represents which heat setting. Very easy to use the water filling system. Not bad for the price

Colours don’t seem to work with the temperature Heavy and doesn’t move easily or “glide” Should’ve paid more Buy cheap buy twice
